Glen Elden Farm is a delightful vineyard and haven for Australian wildlife located within the Barossa Valley, specifically within the Eden Valley region just outside of the historic town Springton. Glen Elden Farm is right on the door step of the 'Lavender Trail' and a number of world class Australian Wineries.Enjoy absolutely stunning 360 degree views of the Barossa and Eden Valleys from the hill top vineyard! Easy RV and caravan access although 4WD recommended if the weather is particularly wet.
If you fancy a toilet that flushes, you can take a short walk down the hill to our vintage outbuildings. Also available in this space is a fridge and access to power point to charge your devices. Glen Eden has been a working vineyard for over 20 years producing some exceptional Barossa Shiraz. For a time until recently Glen Elden Farm was under foreign ownership which meant as no owners were living onsite the house and outbuildings weren't able to be maintained. As the new owners we are carefully restoring and tidying up the space in an attempt to restore her to her former glory. She's not perfect yet but we are working on it!
As a side note, the Glen Elden Farm vineyards are working vineyards so there will on occasion be staff working out in the vines particularly in late winter (pruning) and vintage (late summer), picking the grapes but the hill top is up above the vineyards so you will still have plenty of your own space to enjoy. Feel free to touch base when you book if you wish to avoid busy times.
