Located on picturesque Blackall Range Road, Woombye on the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Ideally suited for self contained campers, offering complete privacy, in natural rainforest setting with lots of native birds and little wallabies and a night sky full of stars. The site is accessed by vehicle (4WD recommended, especially in wet conditions) on a 700 metre bush track, with a variety of camping options - including swags/tents and off-road caravans. Guests have their own exclusive camping area with fire pit, hammocks and fresh water streams. As we are nestled in the rainforest, phone reception can vary depending on provider. The area offers a variety of nature walks and only 10 minutes to town of Woombye, Palmwoods, Montville, Hinterland National Parks and also convenient access to the many beaches on the coast.Stunning rainforest with seasonal running creek and waterfall on private property, nestled in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Guests have their own exclusive camping area with fire pit. Plenty of space to pitch tents and also suitable for camp trailers. Pets very welcome. The dam is approx 300 metres from the campsite and has a paddle boat guests can also use, or enjoy a drink from the deck chairs. Don't forget some boots to go exploring all the tracks, streams and forest. Perfect for a couples getaway or family gathering. Private Rainforest Camp in Woombye
A beautiful place to stay 🧡
Had a great chat to Jacqui (owner) at the top of their driveway before I headed into the campsite. She was warm, welcoming and made me feel right at home on her property. When you enter Woombye Rainforest Camp you can definitely feel the magic of the place. It’s clear the years of dedication and care put into it by Jacqui and her family have imbued it with a warmth and safety. It’s something you have to feel when you’re there, but it clearly resonates. I had a beautiful few days at this spot and could not recommend it more highly. There was absolute privacy. There was fresh drinking water & a small hut but you’ll need to bring everything else. But it was the little things that were a treat. I had forgot my tent pegs and Jacqui had already thoughtfully provided them in the welcome hamper. I also got to meet the resident Goanna on top of the waterfall. You really will have all you need here. This camp was everything I had needed and I left feeling more grounded after a busy few months. I’ll be back again as this is a special place!

Wonderful secluded retreat
A wonderful, secluded rainforest retreat with an exceptional host. From the moment we arrive Jacqueline was so warm and welcoming. Her attention to detail with a personal note and little extras like wood for the fire, tea and coffee, plushy hammocks and access to water. Made our stay that bit better.

💯❤️ CANNOT RECOMMEND this place enough.Jacqui is such a Gem in every way Everything has been thought of and already prepared for you on arrival.Stunning rainforest setting with amazing flora and fauna.Crystal clear creeks and really cool Peddle boat..And if your adventurous enough to climb up the creek to the waterfalls and rock pools you will blown away by the views and sound's of the wind in the trees and trickling water Already booked for a longer stay 5 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶 Rating from us

Private Rainforest Camp in Woombye
It was such a joy to return to Woombye Rainforest Escape and to Jacqui's wonderful hospitality. This was our third trip and provided us with the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of City life. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful rainforest setting with the creek babbling nearby envelopes you with a sense of calm. Jacqui's special touches - the deck chairs, the Bali Hut, fire wood and pits, the boxes of goodies, hammocks, rainwater tank, bin - all add to the luxury camping experience. We've already booked again for a longer stay and can't wait!
