Hold it Flats is a 120 acre property that borders the beautiful O'Connell River that has water all year round. Take a walk around the property to check out some of the creatures that have been built out of scrap metal and bush bars that have been built all around the property. There is nice shady trees, green grass and flat camping sites right beside the river with hot showers and flushing toilets. There is plenty of room and some great tracks for the kids and the big kids to ride their push bikes on. The swimming hole is about 2 meters deep and has big shady trees on the edge. There is also enough room for kids to bring their kayaks and have a paddle along the river. We have some hiking tracks up around the hills of our property that have amazing views of the area. All campsites can be provided with their own fire pit. You just pick your spot and we will bring a portable fire pit to you. Fire wood can be purchased at the property. All rubbish must be taken when you, there are no rubbish bins provided.

Hold It Flats Riverfront Camping

Love It !!! Will Be Back !!!

We throughly enjoyed our stay.. Originally booked for 2 nights but stayed 4.. Extremely peaceful & relaxing (there were only a couple of campers there during our stay which made it extra special). We loved the refreshing dips in the creek, the beautiful lush green grassy sites, individual fire pits (with firewood available for purchase), fantastic amenities (flushing toilets & hot showers). Although we were self contained we did make use of the fantastic amenities. Kate was extremely helpful and a great communicator always just a text away!! Probably one of our best Hipcamp stays, definitely won’t be our last visit!! 💜

Would definitely recommend, even with a substantial amount of rain we had a great time. Lovely hosts and amazing spot. Would definitely come again.

Can walk barefoot and no prickles. Everything well looked after. Toilet and showers all nice and clean. Kate is an amazing host

Hold it Flats never fails to impress. Camping next to the creek is beautiful. Keeps the kids busy swimming and kayaking. Tidy well managed property with plenty of wildlife to spot. Hot showers an added luxury.

Nice spot with clean hot showers and toilets. Plenty of shade and water was nice. You can request a Coffee in the morning will do your washing and mind your dog for a small fee. Highly recommended.

Great host excellent beautiful place. We were riverfront 3 nights. Facilities of toilets/showers/fire pits all great. Plenty of space between other campers and a nice flow of water to swim or kickback and enjoy nature. Thank you Kate you have created a great spot with many options .
