Learn more about this land: Quelques sites de camping sont mis à votre disposition près de la Rivière-À-Claude. Accès au bloc sanitaire avec douche (prévoir des 1$), toilette et eau potable. L'accès au camping est de 20$ par personne et la journée de vélo est incluse. Accès a un sauna sur le bord de la rivière. Pour trouver le camping : Sur la route Castonguay, à environ 3 kilomètres de la 132, vous arriverez à un lieu où il y aura des jardins à votre gauche. Continuez quelques mètres plus loin et vous verrez une pancarte qui indique « vélo, hébergement » avec une flèche, à gauche. Vous entrerez alors dans un grand parking de gravel, les spots de camping sont a droite.! A few campsites are available near the Rivière-À-Claude. Access to the sanitary block with shower (provide $1), toilet and drinking water. Access to the campsite is $20 per person and the day of cycling is included. Access to a sauna on the edge of the river. To find the campsite : On Castonguay Road, about 3 kilometers from the 132, you will come to a place where there will be gardens on your left. Continue a few meters further and you will see a sign that says "bike, accommodation" with an arrow, on the left. You will then enter a large gravel parking lot. Dispersed primitive camping sites are available on the banks of the Rivière-À-Claude, directly on the pebble beach, at the bottom of the trail. Campsites are $20 per person and a bicycle is included. (Compost toilet, common fire pit area available for use) Situated 1 hour from the Gaspesie National Park, you will be amazed by the natural beauty this region has to offer!

Unexpected Glamping!

We pulled in thinking we were camping on the beach but immediately noticed tiny pull-in car camping lots all very close together. I wasn't the happiest to see this as I was expecting a private night on the beach and Antoine wasn't there at check-in as advertised. The friendly neighbour told us that originally it was pebble beach camping, but that has since changed due to water levels and we were expecting 80 mm of rain that night. We messaged Antoine to see if we could camp in the tree house we stumbled upon given the rain. He didn't reply but that same nice neighbour told us the place is pretty quiet and to just go for it. We took our tent down and had a magical (and dry) night in the tree house. Beautiful spot! Next time we’ll fire up the sauna across from the tree house. Don't let the lack of communication deter you. This place is an empty but dazzling gem!

La place est extrêmement belle et très bien entretenue! On voit que les proprios aiment leur terrain et veulent le partager avec les autres. Par contre, nous n’avons pas pu entrer en contact avec le host. Aucune réponse à nos messages et le numéro de téléphone est non-fonctionnel. Nous avions l’impression d’être là illégalement pour notre nuit, et de ne pas être en Hip camp. Le lendemain, nous avons croisé une employé du camping qui nous a dit qu’elle allait rectifier la chose (communication avec le host).

Magical camp spot

Magical place. It’s very secluded and the property itself is absolutely stunning. I picked to start my 30th bday there and no regrets. The way to the river is steep. There’s stairs l so if u have dogs ur going to have to go through the side.
