La Cabine Luciole est une cabane patrimoniale en érable à sucre construite à la fin des années 1800. Il est situé dans une ancienne forêt d'érables moussue avec d'imposants érables majestueux. Il est construit sur une ligne tellurique par des colons irlandais (Erin), ce qui lui confère une puissante énergie pour se régénérer. La cabine cathédrale au toit de tôle a suffisamment d'espace pour manger, se divertir et faire du yoga, elle dispose également d'une mezzanine pour 2 personnes et peut être utilisée comme coin de lecture, apportez vos propres sacs de couchage, oreillers et serviettes et vous êtes invités à vous installer. monter une tente sur le camping extérieur. Il y a une douche chauffée à pleine pression, des toilettes à compost, un évier extérieur et une station de cuisson. Le site est réservé pour une intimité totale, une seule réservation de groupe à la fois, vous disposez donc de votre propre espace privé dans les bois. Il y a une cheminée dans la cabane avec beaucoup de bois. Le sol est principalement constitué de tremplins naturels, cueillis à la main dans les bois. La cabane est nichée dans une forêt magique de mousse et de fougères avec des lucioles, des hiboux, des cerfs et des renards. Il y a des sentiers de randonnée paisibles et entretenus. Un foyer extérieur de cuisine en forme de sphère sous des lampes solaires lucioles ajoute à l’expérience magique. Il existe de merveilleuses activités telles que la pêche, le kayak (Safari Kayak) et les pistes cyclables dans la région. Remontez le temps et découvrez la rare sagesse des érables à sucre mesurant plus de 150 pieds de haut. Cabine Luciole is a heritage Sugar Maple Cabin built in the late 1800's. It is located in an mossy, old growth maple forest with towering majestic maple trees. It is built on a leyline by Irish (Erin) settlers, giving it powerful energy to rejuvinate. You can also walk the cretan labyrinth, to bring balance. The catherdral tin roof cabin has enough space for dinning, entertaining and yoga, it also has a sleeping loft for 2 people, and can be used as a reading nook, bring your own sleeping bags, pillows, and towels and you are welcome to set up a tent on the outdoor camping site. There is a heated full pressure shower, compost toilet and an outdoor sink and cooking station. The site is booked for complete privacy, only one group booking at a time, so you have your own private spot in the woods. There is a fireplace in the cabin with plenty of wood. The floor is mostly nature stepping stones, hand picked from the woods. The cabin is nestled in a moss and fern magical woods with fireflies, owls, deer, and foxes. There are groomed peaceful walking trails. A sphere shaped cooking outdoor fireplace under firefly solar lights adds to the magical experience. There are wonderful activates such as fishing, kayaking (Safari Kayak) and bike trails in the local area. Go back in time and experience the rare wisdom of the sugar maple trees that are over 150 feet tall. You will never want to leave, come back and see the trees colourful splendor in the fall and in early spring we plan to have hands on maple syrup making.You will have complete privacy with a separate entrance to the camping area. The trails are only for walking. Enjoy the tranquility under the majestic vintage maple trees, The area has much to offer, across the road you can have dinner at Domaine de la Templerie. Huntingdon escorted Kayaking offered on the crystal clear Chateaugauy sand river just 15 mins away. Spend time on the bike trails next to the St Lawrence canal who go boating. Very much recommend !

Luciole was magical! I only stayed for one night and it rained the whole time but it was the perfect place to rest and listen to the soothing sound of rain on a tin roof. Luckily I had my headlamp as it is quite dark in there, especially on a grey day. Its the perfect off grid spot and the outdoor space looked awesome, I’ll definitely go back so I can utilize it all to the max! Roberta was vey sweet and accommodating. The water she provided from her well was crisp and delicious…. Its the little things!

Definitely a unique experience! Was great that wood was provided. Shower worked perfectly. Outdoor cook station was super functional. If you’re looking for something different don’t pass this place up.

We had a wonderful stay. At night the fireflies sparkled all over the forest and I will never forget our stay as my boyfriend proposed to me here! Thank you for a wonderful stay and beautiful memories.

Really lovely cabin. It felt like I had a private forest to myself. The hosts were very accommodating and made sure I had more than enough water and firewood for my stay. While drive up is possible, the rain had made the road unusable for my vehicle and I had to carry in my belongings, but it wasn't too far of a trek from the parking to the cabin, and even with two bags and a cooler, I didn't have much trouble. The cabin is beautifully rustic and was very cozy. Cooking station is outside and outfitted with a camp stove, a grill for the firepit and a small collection of cooking pans/utensils. I mainly did my cooking over the fire. Another thing of note is that the property has the cleanest outhouse I've ever seen in my life. There is also an outdoor enclosed shower that I didn't make much use of, but was very appreciated. The surrounding area is also really enjoyable to drive through. I had a great time in Ormstown, and I was even able to hit up a local public beach in Saint Anicet. My favourite part of the trip was stepping out after the sun has gone down and seeing all the fireflies light up the forest. It was one of the nicest experiences I've had and a great solo trip for anyone looking for a quiet, private place to relax.

Magical stay in the woods

I loved my stay at Roberta's land. Our host was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin is rustic and cozy, the place is a gem. I will definitely come back!
