Private Suspended Tree Tent
We really enjoyed the tree tent site! It is completely private and pretty close to the parking lot - it is a bit of work to bring your stuff to the site but that was a workout we enjoyed! The wagons are next level awesome and we only took two trips to bring everything. The lake is more like a pond and we didn’t end up swimming at the beach but other campers were and the beach is super cute at night all lit up, it was really pretty. There are canoes, a paddle board and peddle boat. There are life jackets at the beach. The campsites are very well spaced out, if you don’t feel like trekking your stuff in I would stay at camp 1 as it is the closest to the parking lot besides the tree tent. I liked the tree tent but I think the difference in weight between my partner and I made it less comfortable for me, I’d try it again with two girls more my size as the tent is meant for three single sleepers. We saw cute chipmunks and squirrels but someone chewed through our plastic bottle of water at night! We had our food packed well and up high, but the destroyed water bottle surprised us! There are two port a potty’s, one at the entrance and one near the beach. They were both too full for us to comfortably use. We had a compost toilet at the site which was and experience but did the trick! There is a store close by for firewood or anything you might forget. I liked it. I would stay again but I think I’d choose autumn instead of summer.

Blueberry Lake magical oasis
It was my second camping time here and it was just as beautiful as I remembered! I chose site #2 this time which was much closer to the parking lot (about 5 min trek) rather than the previous site I stayed at last year (#5) which was a 20 min trek uphill over very rocky/muddy terrain) The campsite was nice and clean upon arrival. Alex kindly greeted me to check in, making sure I had everything I needed. The site was right beside the stream! I loved waking up to the sound of flowing water and birds chirping. It rained the second day, but I didn’t care, I came prepared. I went for little walks, enjoying and exploring the beautiful land. Grateful I got to to spend more time at this magical little oasis.. Looking forward to coming back again!
