site 3 - GreenHills Campground
Tent camping in summer
The site felt very private. The sound of the birds was beautiful. Our host allowed us to be on our own, undisturbed, but was available through messaging on the Hipcamp app. Be sure that you have notifications on. I missed his messages upon our arrival. We did hear the gun club as other reviewers noted. There were a couple of hours Saturday night and another couple of hours Sunday morning when it was constant, however we live in an area where this is not that uncommon, so it faded into the background for us. We also heard trains in the distance, it was a relaxing sound. We had neighbors on the first night and we could tell they were there, but the sites are well-spaced so it was quiet. Unfortunately, we had neighbors come in on our second night with a DJ setup playing loud techno music. Marty was responsive to our concerns and tried messaging them and offered to go in person if they did not turn the music down by 10 o’clock. They left in the middle of the night, leaving trash everywhere. This wasn’t the fault of the campground, but it did affect the enjoyment of our campsite. The site itself is well supplied. Water is available from a hose. You might want to bring separate drinking water if that bothers you. The outhouse was clean and not too smelly due to cedar chips. Our cars were able to navigate the lane. The clearing is hilly. We have a large tent and found a flat area. If you have two large tents, finding a second flat spot might be a little challenging.

Deck/kitchen
Deck site #1
This was a nice site with some modern amenities (grill, sink, mini fridge). The deck site is more of an open field (not wooded). You could rent all three sites and this would make a great place for larger groups/multiple families.

Site 2 - GreenHills Campground
We loved site #2! Very spacious, plenty of shade and a great spot to enjoy a few nights outside. The outhouses were clean and the shower was fantastic. Marty was a great host and responsive when we had questions. The description online matched the campsite perfectly!

site 3 - GreenHills Campground
Our family had a fantastic time tent camping at site #3 at Marty’s Camp! The site exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly spacious and offered a high level of privacy. Marty was helpful providing us with directions to a wonderful hiking trail right from our campsite. The kids loved the playground equipment. The campsite itself was immaculate and well-designed. We appreciated the thoughtful layout with benches, picnic tables, a fire pit (perfect for roasting marshmallows!), and even a hammock for relaxing in the shade. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Marty’s Camp to anyone looking to spend quality time outdoors.

Site 2 - GreenHills Campground
Beautiful stay @ a beautiful site
Site 2 at Marty's was perfect for a 2 family camping weekend! The site was huge and much bigger than a standard campsite. There were 2 hammocks, 2 picnic tables and 2 fire pits at the campsite. There were some great walking trails and the fishing pond on the property was so much fun for the kids. We brought our dog which was a great bc he had plenty of room to roam. I was glad we booked Site 2 bc it had a ton of shade and tree cover. The other sites were more in the sun & would've been hot during the day. Marty was really responsive when I msg'd him before and during the stay. He was courteous and quick to respond. The other sites were not respectful of the quiet hours which was a little annoying but we worked around it. Would def stay there again!!! Marty's property was great!
