Situated on 5 coastal forest acres, Fern Creek offers dark night skies and quiet accommodations just 3 miles from old town Bandon and 4 miles from ocean beaches.Situated on 5 coastal forest acres and decorated with colorful folk art and hand dyed textiles, the Cottage above Fern Creek is a quiet getaway close to all that Bandon offers. The cottage offers amenities modeled after boutique hotels as well as a kitchenette. Step out from a soak in the tub onto the heated tile floor and wrap yourself in a spa robe before sinking into the comfort of the premium latex queen mattress. 3 miles from town yet it feels a world away. Sleeps 2, additional infant ok. No pets, please. The bedroom area has a queen bed with natural latex mattress. Bed is European style, with fluffy down duvet and latex pillows dressed in comfortably rumpled natural cotton sheeting. Full bathroom with tub/shower combo and heated floors. We provide eco- and body-friendly hand soap, shampoo and body wash. Cotton robes and bath salts provided. Enjoy a meal outdoors on your private patio. Pick huckleberries, blueberries and blackberries in season. Dark skies are great for stargazing. Kitchenette has refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, hot plates, sink and dishwasher. It is stocked with tools to prepare simple meals (think fried eggs and toast, spaghetti with sauce from a jar, reheated leftovers, etc). There is no stove or oven. Coffee maker, electric kettle, coffee and tea are included. Eggs from our flock are available spring through fall. We are eco-conscious and provide fabric dish towels, dish rags and Swedish dishcloths instead of paper towels. Our water is UV-purified spring water. Yes, you can drink it! Pack and play with bassinet insert and crib sheet available upon request if you are traveling with an infant.
