The property is away from everything yet close to many amazing restaurants that will deliver right to your campsite! The nearest shops are only minutes away for all your camping needs! Awesome Place!

We had an amazing time. Everything you need is provided, I was surprised at everything that was there! Just bring your food and condiments. The swimming pond was the highlight for us. We spent 2 days in the water. Just awesome!

I loved spending time at this yurt . It was spacious , clean and meticulously decorated to give a welcoming feel amidst the wooded backdrop thats well kept and more than spacious enough to accommodate the family and pets while having access to a fire pit , bbq , picnic table outdoors . The indoor fireplace will be nice when we go back in the colder months . All in all you can’t beat the experience . Willll be attending again this season and further on.

Best weekend ever!

Our visit to the yurt was fantastic. Shelly and Trevor have gone above and beyond to provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, and it is decorated beautifully. It rained on and off during our stay, but we stayed cozy and dry thanks to the small Woodstove and tent shelter. The yurt is located beside the Avenmore Oasis camp hosted by Kirk, so we had access to a beautiful spring fed pond for swimming and padding, firewood/ice delivery, and an on-site food truck with ice cream. We had lunch deliverd right to our door by Kirk. Our 6 year old son loved playing at the beach and jumping on the trampoline. The yurt is pet friendly and there is so much room to play and explore. Highly recommend this trip to anyone. We are used to backwoods off grid camping so it was such a treat to not have to lift a finger. Everything we brought was already provided. Thanks so much for a fun, relaxing experience.

My husband and I did a little winter getaway in the yurt. It was so amazing cozy and warm definitely going to go back. Shelly and Trevor are such a delight. Highly recommended getaway

Charming Stay!

This place is a gem. The Yurt is so beautifully decorated and the hosts take care of every detail. It’s so welcoming and inviting. This Yurt is located in the corner of an open field, but the campsites are spaced well and there is a private area at the side and back of the Yurt. The land owner, Kirk, is available by phone to deliver ice, wood and food from his chip truck, and he’s super nice and helpful. It does get quite warm inside, so be prepared for that. This is definitely a rustic stay, but it was perfect for us. The bed was so comfortable, and there’s plenty of areas for lounging. The composting toilet (a bucket with sawdust) is located inside the yurt, which was actually really convenient with small children. It doesn’t smell too strong as long as you follow the instructions. There’s also an outhouse nearby. There is a pond for swimming, and the kids had fun chasing frogs. It’s a small pond but perfect for a quick dip and a paddle. I’m going to recommend the Yurt to everyone I know, and we will definitely be back.
