Learn more about this land: The land is framed by the historic Bruce Trail to the north, Billy Bishop airport (only a few small prop-private flights daily) to the west, Concession 6 N on the East, and Highway 26 on the south end of the property.   There is a forest on the north end of our land where the bruce trail runs through (C) and the farm sits more to the south end (A). There's a pine-forest that one has to hike into (B- see map in photos). Generally, the area is close to swimming in Lake Huron, the property is large (100 hectares) and the neighborhood is large grain. This means you can have a chunk of the forest all to yourself. For area A you can drive in the main driveway and park by the house/ barn or on the field. Or walk to a camping spot. No 4 wheel drive is necessary. Please stay away from the Barn as it is dangerous to be close by.  For area C you can access the fields from Concession 6 N at one of the gates past (North) of the driveway. You will need a 4-wheel drive to not get stuck in the field. Please do not park on the agricultural field.  For area B You will park your car behind a gate right off Highway 26 and hike in to find a site to pitch a tent. There are about 3 spots for cars behind the first set of Pines. You might need a 4-wheel drive.  It's completely up to you where you set up camp. We ask that you do not light any open fires as this is a coniferous forest. Feel free to walk in as far you want to find your spot. If you walk too far you will come up to a field and the farmhouse. We ask that you do not camp on the agricultural fields. The land is framed by the historic Bruce Trail to the north, Billy Bishop airport (only a few small prop-private flights daily) to the west, Concession 6 N on the East, and Highway 26 on the south end of the property.   There is a forest on the north end of our land where the bruce trail runs through (C) and the farm sits more to the south end (A). Nice Stay amazing experience
Group trip
Had an amazing experience camping but the campsite is basically in front of the farmhouse and there aren't any bushes around the house but if you do choose to stay at site A B or C which is very rough to access and was daunting to us.

It's exactly what the listing says it is. You drive into a rough patch of land off the highway, park your car in a little clearing, and look for a place to put your tent. We came in late and the ground near the car was quite rough with very tall grass, making it hard to find a good place to pitch the tent. However, I imagine that if you spend some time looking and walk a little further you'd be able to find a good spot.

Confusing map
The map is very confusing. There is zero entry point for b and c. And there wasn’t a fire pit at A. Dan was super nice but I showed up very very late so I didn’t have answers to all my questions.

Very Wild — as it says
I stayed at location B. The ad is exactly as stated. Wild. Very tall grasses, shrubs, small trees and tall trees. No paths. Cut your own trail. Very secluded but too rough for me. I barely made it through the front to gate to turn around. Slept in my car. Better to choose one of Dan’s other sites for me next time.

First time to Lion's Head.
Group trip
Wide space. Neat area. Lovely barn although we aren't allowed to go in ;) Safe and Clean, no water source nor washrooms so I $40 per night was a bit expensive compared to others. But the experience was amazing!
