Absolutely incredible stay
My adult daughter and I enjoyed a recent weekend stay at I. CANT.E.R. at the Barnview cottage.
We were greeted by Karen (executive director) and taken on a tour of the entire property. Variable ecosystems, a range of animals, floral and vegetable gardens, education/craft centres, trails, many species of birds were a few of the features of the farm. Karen and her various staff taught us about farm life and patiently answered our many questions.
Karen's love and commitment to ensuring that therapeutic goals of children at the summer camp were met and her devotion to the health and well-being of all animals and plant-life was readily evident. She was also passionate to make certain we were happy during our stay and had all that we needed in the cabin and on the deck.
Our cottage was well-appointed. We drove a golf cart ( or walked) to the outhouse and used the golf cart to get around to various hiking spots.
Activities off-site were plentiful. In particular, we enjoyed swimming and relaxing at Crystal Beach.
My daughter and I left the farm feeling so impressed by the hard work and dedication of Karen, her staff and many volunteers.
In summary, the philosophy of the farm is refreshing and leaves visitors with the feeling of hope that mankind can not only benefit from nature/animals but also nurture the relationship for the well-being of all.

My daughter and I had a great time at Wilcress Farm. We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our time on the farm with the animals. We took a day trip to Blue Mountain (about a 1-hour drive) to do some adventuring and then returned to Wilcress to enjoy a campfire.
The cabin is nestled in a forested area just off the side of the driveway with access to a heated outdoor shower, outhouse, and firepit and it has all the supplies you could want - a toaster, kettle (with tea and coffee), fridge, cutlery, heater and a comfortable bed.
The animals on the farm are amazing - friendly dogs, pot-bellied pigs, a donkey, and horses. They're all super friendly and enjoy being petted. We loved learning about their stories and how they came to live on Wilcress Farm. Kim does an amazing job giving them all a wonderful life. If you ever come back as a pot-bellied pig in your next life, try to make your way over to Wilcress Farm.

Highly recommend :)
Kim & Steve have created a lovely little nook on their property. We loved our stay, thank you for hosting us. Highly recommend future guests take a drive up to Lions Head for a hike, it won’t disappoint! Also, grab a bite to eat at Rockford Family Restaurant up the street, the food and service is outstanding! We can’t wait to come back in the summer time for our trip up to Tobermory :) thanks again!
