Had no trouble finding the spot, hosts directions are easy to follow. Eileen was very accommodating and responsive. Truly a beautiful night under the trees in a gorgeous forest!

(I loved it so much that I don’t want anyone to know about it!)

It was so perfect that I don’t even want to review it, I want to keep it to myself lol
It’s dry camping or boondocking, there will be a fire ring, probably won’t be a table, no water, no electric, and the outhouses are clean for outhouses. Most of my experience is in the NE US, Canada seems to have a lot more mosquitoes — multiple mosquito incense coils and spray made a big difference.
Shadow is Eileen’s dog, she was a great playmate to my dog and showed us how to find the lake. I planned to stay 2 nights, ended up staying four. It’s 8 hours from home and in a whole different country, but I will be back. Amazing place to explore.

Beautiful forest
Eileen is so lovely, a wonderful host. Her land is gorgeous with both private, removed sites and not so private closer ones. Perfect for whatever kind of experience you're looking for.

Camping with the Pine Trees
I think the true testament of a review is ultimately would you go back, the answer is clearly yes. Where else can you learn how to use a wood splitter and get a visit from a Shadow (dog). Our site was quite big, there are various sites, some with more privacy than others, there is a small Beach where your little kids can play the day away. Out buildings are scheune amongst the pine trees that have history yet told (especially the musical stage) Outhouses are plenty, the road leading in is like a magical mystery tour, the pines talk to the skies with the stars shining through. Thank you Eileen for keeping it simple and back to nature, we will see you again soon.
