Escape to nature. Relax at this peaceful retreat on the beautiful Moira River. Spend the day in the river and the rapids; swimming, fishing, canoeing or read a book in the screened gazebo overlooking the water. The “things to do” list in the area is plentiful; trails, rivers, parks, and nature galore. Riverbend is surrounded by quaint towns offering; antiquing, cafes and festivals. Unwind at the end of the day with a bonfire under the stars surrounded by fireflies and then climb into your cozy bed in our off-grid cabin.Thank you to all our amazing guests Everyone has been respectful to us and our property. Spring is coming and Riverbend will be spectacular. The river is definitely going to put on a show. The Grayotter is a cozy off-grid cabin. Our solar panels allow you to run basic electrical needs. With a comfortable futon, you’ll sleep deeply listening to the rapids. The wood burning stove is there for when the nights get chilly. A bbq, propane stove with 3 burners and oven along with the necessary kitchen utensils will allow you to whip up yummy meals during your stay. If you’ve brought kids or guests our moonlight bunky offers 360 degree screens, comfortable camp cots and access to everything. The outhouse is worth the visit all on its own. The water is at your doorstep. Walk through the screened gazebo, down the steps to the floating dock and enjoy the beauty of the river and the rapids. Riverbend is perfect for swimming, fishing and canoeing. When the sun goes down, enjoy the fire pit under the stars.

Winter wonderland

The best valentines retreat ever, the beautiful property helped me to fall in love with winter again. Even when we hiked around for a while through 3 feet of snow, it was easy to warm up again by the wood stove. Everything you didn’t even know you needed was already there. The amount of thought put into this place is incredible. We’ll definitely be back in the summer ❤️

My partner and I had a beautiful stay at Katrina & Graham's cabin. So cozy, peaceful and private. We saw a beaver hanging out in the river and some swans, even with most of the river frozen. What a snowy delight. The place is very well kept and the hosts are easy to communicate with. The cabin warms up quick and is well stocked. Would definitely recommend!

Winter Getaway!

Riverbend was the perfect getaway for the dogs and I. Katrina and Graham were very accommodating and quick to answer any question I had. There was lots of forest to explore during the day and the cabin was super cozy for nighttime. It has everything you need from candles, extra headlamps, kitchen cookware and dishes. Two fire pits to decide where to have a fire either close to the cabin or by the water. I couldn't recommend this place more and hope to be back to explore during other seasons!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful, cozy cottage, and it was everything I hoped for. The location is peaceful and serene, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Christmas Getaway

With pets

We spent Christmas at River Bend and it was magical. The property is beautiful and the cabin is so cute and cozy! You can tell all the thought and hard work that went into making this place so wonderful. It was very easy to find with a GPS and it’s a little gem tucked back in the bush. There is plenty to see outdoors and we cannot wait to come back in the summer to see what else River Bend has to offer :) The cabin was nice and warm with the wood stove and there was plenty of firewood for indoor and outdoor use. Thank you so much Katrina and Graham for sharing this little piece of paradise with us. We can’t wait to come back :)
