We are uniquely situated in a rare rural setting located right within town limits. The last property on a nicely wooded street with few neighbours, set back from the road and surrounded by open fields and woods.
The town is a tourist and cottager destination, surrounded by lakes, conservation areas and trails enjoyed by hikers, cyclists, ATVer's in summer and snowmobilers in winter. We have kayaks and a canoe on site for campers to use, with varying adult sizes in lifejackets, and safety kits.We are offering exclusive glamping or camping options within the best of both worlds. We have our cozy retro camper for 2, and for larger groups; we also have our furbished Bighorn tent which sleeps 2, and optimal camping spots around the property for campers who bring their own tents. We can offer group rates and weekly discounts. Conveniently located only 1 km away from town center and all amenities, yet on a farm country setting with private forested area behind the camper and tent. Some of the most popular tourist attractions are just a few blocks away: Lock 34 is part of the Trent Waterway System, connects Cameron and Sturgeon Lakes; and any lake on the Trent can be accessed by boat from there. There is a public boat launch near the Locks. We have lots of level parking space if you are bringing a fishing boat, ATV's, or other recreational vehicles. We have private docking off the property where you can launch a canoe or kayak. We also have a pontoon boat and can offer boat outings by special request. Spend the afternoons swimming in one of the warm sheltered bays, or enjoy a gorgeous sunset at the beach park or a walk along the Rail Trail, which is favoured by local hikers and cyclists. Bring your bikes or rent one in town. Great little boutique shops in Fenelon Falls, and everyone's favourite, GRR8 Finds, has been written up in the Toronto Star article Gem of a Town. There is craft beer available at Fenelon Falls Brewery, fantastic frozen yogurt from Country Cupboard, and no one can pass up the renowned Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream at Slices N' Scoops.
