North Frontenac Lodge is a classic Canadian outdoor experience to be enjoyed at your own pace, without a rush. Our log cabins give a new meaning to simplicity, taking the concept to a higher level through a nature-inspired experience. From paddling adventures, hikes, and fishing to reading a book and enjoying a peaceful evening under the stars, North Frontenac Lodge offers an experience away from a fast-paced, complicated life, one that encourages you to breathe and feel nature as it is meant to be. North Frontenac Lodge has a beautiful sense of community, and we’ve seen many guests leave as friends. Pets are always welcome to join your adventures at the lodge. *Linens and bedding are available if you prefer not to bring your own. If your party is larger than two people and you require more sleeping space, we offer a newly renovated Bunkie that accommodates two more guests. Please let us know if you are interested in reserving the Fern Bunkie, available to all our guests for $75/night (including cleaning). If you’re looking for a special place for a family/friend reunion, friends glamping trip or any other special occasion, and you want to consider renting the 4 Lodge cabins, please let us know; we can plan with you to ensure that whatever event is on your horizon has the perfect setting to make a lifetime memory. -- What to do around the cabin? Mosque Lake and Ompah offer many adventures and places to discover. Go out on a hike and explore the trails in the area. Go on a photographic adventure and try to capture the best wildlife shots around the lake. Take a SUP or a kayak -available for free for the guests- and explore the islands. And if you like to prepare fresh fish-based dishes, Mosque Lake has great trout and perch fishing. If you like to follow the winds of winter, take a pair of snowshoes available at the cabin and go across the lake and have a winter picnic. Set up your fishing shack outside your door, open a hole and fish! *Winter roads require an AWD or 4WD vehicle to access Juniper Cabin. Parking is available on-site for all guests. If you bring your boat, there is parking for your trailer as well. *Power outages due to storms are always a possibility in cottage country. Typically, power is restored within a few hours if this should happen. Cottages will be stocked with candles and flashlights for guest safety. *Internet/WIFI access is available at the property- connect to our WIFI and work from the cabins. * If you’d like to bring your own boat, there is a free boat launch on the lake, and we can support docking your boat. -- In case of emergency, the nearest hospital is: Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital, 33 Drummond St W, Perth, ON K7H 2K1 Guest are welcome to bring their own firewood. The firewood is self-serve and we ask you to simply let us know how much wood you have used during your stay, or leave the appropriate funds on your table at check out. Guests are responsible for removing their garbage and recycling from the cabin and bringing it to the garbage shed. The township requires all waste to be sorted, and the containers in the shed are labelled accordingly. Please sort your garbage and do your part to help save our planet. We ask that you respect them and the noise levels while staying with us.

Jack Pine Cabin
Not private bot good views
very winding and long rocky path to get to the small chalets. Very firm and uncomfortable bed. Chalet very close to other chalets so little privacy. The hot tob is very neglected and takes a long time to prepare because it must be heated 3 hours in advance with wood, so it is not very inviting. The little Weber bbq works whenever it wants. The shower room is very clean and well decorated but no pressure in the shower. The view of the lake is superb and the water is good. There is a lot of potential but it could be better maintained. The price is not worth it.

Birch Cabin - North Frontenac Lodge
Birch Cabin @ North Frontenac Lodge
The stay was exactly as advertised. The cabin was very clean & well kept. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need… Kettle, toaster, pots & pans, plates, bowls & cutlery, can opener & bbq lighter! They also provide propane for the bbq. The beach is great for kids, but I preferred to swim off the back dock. It was nice to be able to use all the water toys; canoes, kayaks, paddle board & paddle boat. It’s a beautiful, quiet & relaxing spot. The lake is beautiful & clean. But there’s only perch & trout…. No bass :O Chuck & Jolene are great hosts. They are there if you need them but they give you your privacy. All in all I would certainly recommend this place. Cheers Brenna
