This is a very private little slice of heaven that I've been pleased to steward for over 20 years. If you love the sound of frogs singing, and bullfrogs plucking their banjo strings, red-winged blackbirds trilling, you will love it here. The property is literally right across the road from the Mono Cliffs Provincial Park which boasts amazing trails, views and features the Niagara Escarpment. The 4-acre pond/wetland is designated 'Provincially Significant' by the Ministry of Natural Resources and is an important part of the Nottawasaga Watershed. This area is renowned for its terrain - the fields are rolling and the views are quite special. You will enjoy a private firepit and private overlook at the pond with hammock. The site isn't visible from the road. Our house is visible from the site but far enough away as to not disturb one another. We have a newly added outhouse with lighting that will make your stay comfortable.My 10-acre property is adjacent to Mono Cliffs Provincial Park and many other hiking and biking trails. 4-acre pond/marsh which is excellent for kids to find turtles and such when they are nesting, etc. Excellent birdwatching by the pond - ducks, geese, and occasionally swans. Private firepit, and private overlook at the pond with hammock. The site isn't visible from the road. Our house is visible from the site but far enough away as to not disturb one another. UPDATE: We have just added a brand new outhouse! Friendly dogs are welcome! If you are hiking the Bruce Trail which is very close by, I'm happy to be an "Uber Driver" to drop you off or pick you up for a fee. There are also horse shoe pits on the north side of the property which you are welcome to use.

Loved the site and it was private and secure. Host was nice and welcoming. Its very close to the provincial park also which is a plus.

This site was beautiful. So calm and peaceful!! Donna is an amazing host and keeps everything there so clean and organized, paths mowed to walk through and beautiful flowers and plants surrounding. Outhouse was also very clean! Such a nice, calm place!

Great place to stay!

This is my second time staying here while in the area hiking the BT. Donna's place is great and they are an amazing host and very accomodating to a hikers schedule. I would recommend and while stay here again.

The location was nice, we were able to easily walk to the mono cliffs park. And we theoretically could have walked to some other nearby parks too but we ended up driving. The provided outhouse was also really nice.

Donna’s place was great. So close to amazing hikes and a campsite that had everything I needed, including a very calming atmosphere. Was there for two nights with my dog who loved every minute of it.

Naturally peaceful!

Very private, quaint site. Trees that provide evening shade. Small trail system cut through prairie grasses with stunning views of a pond. Would definitely return to enjoy this site again!
