Nepenthe Island
A whole island to yourself!
Tyler/Carter were very accommodating and the land was amazing! My friend and I paddle boarded from the Callander boat launch to the island and it worked really well. The island is rustic, but Tyler/Carter have made paths throughout the island to do some exploring. We both had dog's and they loved being able to roam free throughout the whole island. A new feature is a dock that they build, and it is really great! Worked well to get our SUPs in and out of the water. It is very buggy, so make sure you bring lots of bus spray. Tyler phoned us before the trip and shared with us some emergency contact numbers and made sure we were comfortable with the trip. It was a nice touch! Thanks so much 😊

Amazing Nature Getaway!
It was a great place if you're looking for a secluded very out-in-nature trip! Was exactly what we were looking for to get away from the hustle of everyday life. Beautiful site with stunning views we enjoyed waking up there each morning and looking out onto the lake! It is only accessible by boat but we had no trouble getting there. For anyone interested in fishing this is the place! Overall we cannot wait to get back up to Carter's property and we are so glad we took the opportunity to try this place out. **Side note GREAT place for any outdoor adventure dogs!! our dog was in heaven!
