We camped during the week mid August and were lucky to have the tenting area and beach largely to ourselves. The sand beach is awesome and free use of kayaks, canoes was great. Staff escorted us to our site and dropped our firewood off later. Jason was great! Bring your own potable water or for us a solar shower kit from Canadian tire hung in a tree worked well for washing hands. Beach was a few steps away and waterfront visible from our campsite. Flushing toilets and showers were a couple minutes drive away but OK for us. Porta potty was nearby. Shower building is newer in trailer sites area. No hooks in shower area for my bag but I used a hook of the shower curtain. An extra privacy curtain would be a good idea for the area outside the shower hall area since there's a straight line of sight when the exterior door opens. For this reason, once my shower was done I changed inside my shower. Wall hooks and/or shelves would be a good addition for shower kits/backpacks with change of clothes/towels.

Overall the camp was clean and fairly quiet. Where it fell short for us was the conditions of the bathrooms. No water for showers and bathrooms were not clean. Part of the issue was groups of children using bathrooms for water fights. Sad really as this is a well established campground - again different from what we expected.

Loved our stay!
My boyfriend and I had a great time! Perfect location for anyone who likes to get out on the water. My boyfriend has done a lot of camping (I have not) and it was perfect for both of us. Portapotties are easily accessible, we were told showers were available if needed, firewood for sale on site and we even rented a power outlet box that came in handy! We got lucky and the park was pretty empty no one near us which was a plus. Even if it were a busier weekend, we would still return. Staff were also very nice! Jason (I believe was his name) was very friendly and very helpful as well as anyone else we came across during our weekend. 10/10
