We own part of a drumlin. Tent camping on the mountain. Trailer and RV parking. Flat areas on the lower parts. We are growing many berries and fruits. There are duck , chicken and rabbits. Farm fresh eggs are available. You can walk the property admire our many gardens. There is a quarry to swim in a short distance away at Seymore Provincal Park , Raney Suspension Bridge and Ferris Provincal park are all close by. Campbellford downtown is 1 km. There is biking trails, atv trails. Chocolate factory, cheese factory, many craft brewing houses. Plenty of restaurants. Giant tiger is 450 meters away yet you are out in the countryThese are quiet areas once you are set up at your spot. Relax enjoy the view. - Wonder the little farm. - All animals must be leashed. - Fire wood is available for a fire if the weather is co - operating. - 2 Provincal parks are near by Seymore and Ferris. - Raney Suspension Bridge is close by and offers a great photo session. - Unusal lift lock to view and watch boats. - The abundant quarry in Seymore park offers a nice swim and great photo session . - We are 1 km from the scenic and historic downtown Campbellford where the great tooney can be seen. - many restaurants and pubs. - Craft breweries offer unique experiences and give you some great local flavors. -Campbellford is located on the Trent Severn Water Way and the Trent River . Good fishing. 6 hydro electic dams Things within 1 hour, - 2 dinosaur exhibits 1 a drive through, 1 a museum - Air Force airplane museum - Peterborough free zoo - Warsaw caves - Lake Ontario fishing -trout, salmon Chocolate factoru Just to name a few

CAMPING!
Michael made sure we were comfortable and was very responsive when ever I messaged him. The area was neat and clean and it was all divided to have your own area. Over all great experience. I would recommend his place to friends and family.

What a wonderful operation Michael has,a beautiful campsite close to everything very knowledgeable and wonderful hospitality, definitely looking forward to spending more time there.

The meadow area up on the drumlin was beautiful with long grasses divided up by swaths with good sized camping areas, each with a table, chairs, fresh water, and a fire pit. There were also good shade trees on the periphery. A very charming and tranquil place to visit and camp. Thanks, Joe.

Lightfoot Mountain
This was a lovely place to stay for the weekend! Michael was such a friendly host, going out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. The sites were very well maintained and the quarry for swimming nearby is a hidden gem. Very close to many things to do, including Westben for concerts and craft breweries. Would definitely go back!

Michael is very warm and friendly. The site is nicely tucked up in the top with great views. Firewood is provided and the washroom is organic. Black flies and mosquitoes expected. A nice visit from busy daily lives.

A very well thought out operation
I really enjoyed my stay at Lightfoot Mountain. Michael was very generous and thoughtful and runs a very well thought out operation. A+ for location, attention to detail, and cleanliness. I would stay again in a heartbeat.
