Hello, campers! We have a wilderness campsite on 112 acres of pristine Canadian Shield in a dense forest.
Our home is located on the acreage however you can choose your own magical spot. Please note that if coming from the city - you will experience a lot of mosquitoes and other forest life. Bug repellent and mosquito or gazebo tents are excellent items to bring to protect from bugs. This is NOT a glamping site, and ZERO amenities are provided. That means you need to know how to go to the bathroom in the woods, bring your own water, and camp stove.
There is a great video by Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI) on youtube to help you with going to the bathroom if you are unfamiliar. I also have the link if you need it.
Kaladar is a small hamlet located at County Road 41 and Highway 7, otherwise known as The Lost Highway. Once upon a time, there was The Kaladar Hotel at the corner, with an interesting history. Now there is a general store with necessities, including groceries, gifts, gas, and more.
