    We've reduced our pricing for the fall, starting Sept 15th! Welcome to our hidden oasis! We're a 2025 Canadian Hipcamp Newcomer Award Winner! Thanks to all our awesome guests! This is quite an honour, only 8 Newcomer Awards were given to the over 500,000 Hipcamp sites. Our 14 acre property is a quiet oasis on several biking trails (G2G, Cottonwood Road, Trans Canada Trail) and a very short drive to famous Elora (7 min) and St. Jacobs (20 min), access to several Grand River launch sites, many nearby hiking trails, and countless Mennonite farmers markets with fresh produce, baked goods, meats, cheeses, and preserves. There is really something for everyone around here. We have a beautiful green acreage with a picturesque pond, next to Cox Creek and privacy with open and treed space and the promise of gorgeous sunsets almost every night. We have fire pits, picnic tables, Muskoka chairs and plenty of firewood. There is plenty of space for tents, and/or RVs. Check out the individual listings for more details about each site. We strive to give you a tranquil experience in a beautiful space where you can enjoy relaxing days close to nature, have space to play games, have a paddle around the pond, or seek out the many surrounding activities. A couple notes about the property: You may encounter property owners (that's us!) and our kids enjoying a walk with their friendly dogs unleashed, picking berries, playing a game or doing yard work near your site and around the property. We hope you don't mind. We aim to give you a lot of privacy, so we aren't going to be around all the time, don't worry. But this is a shared space, that we want to enjoy alongside you and we really hope you enjoy it as much as we do! We'll definitely say hi if we see you but we won't overstay our welcome!

    Experience the unique Elora countryside, with its many local amenities. This site is right next to the water, in a flat grassy area with some tree cover and plenty of space to pitch a tent, dining tent and/or RV. There is a treed fence row on one side and a pond and creek on the other. A large fire pit, picnic table and toilet is nearby. There is no electrical hookup or potable water. There is an RV dumping station at the Elora Gorge Conservation Area about 5km away. Guests will have plenty of space to themselves, with the other Creekside site a good 50 meters away, with a screen of mixed fir trees to provide ample privacy. The acres around the pond is a hidden oasis. We’ve had overwhelmingly positive reviews about the sites. Additionally, we’ve reduced the capacity of each site to help ensure our sites provide the tranquil experience you are seeking. If you want to book for more people we recommend booking both Creekside sites, as tranquility is our first goal for our guests. The 3rd site, away from the pond, is pretty far away and almost completely out of view, but its guests may use the pond on occasion. You may encounter property owners enjoying a walk with their dogs out back, picking berries, playing a game or doing yard work nearby and around the property. There is a treed fence row on one side and an open yard on the other. The pond is very close by. A large fire pit, Adirondack chairs, picnic table and toilet is nearby. There is no electrical hookup or potable water. There is an RV dumping station at the Elora Gorge Conservation Area about 5km away. Guests have plenty of space to themselves, as the property is very large and the other sites are far away, and almost completely out of view and earshot. Access to the pond is shared. however, please respect the other sites' privacy when near the pond. We've limited this site to only 3 guests to help maintain the tranquility of the space. You may encounter property owners enjoying a walk with their dogs out back, picking berries, playing a game or doing yard work nearby and around the property. This is a shared space and we really hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

    It was a lovely quiet spot. The hosts were lovely also. The laneway to access the campsite is too narrow. I got a bad scratch, but other than that everything was perfect.

    Beautiful properly, well maintained, the sites are far away enough from each other not to have to worry about other campers, nice fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and picnic tables. Decent toilet.

    I loved camping on Laura's land! We happened to be the only campers there at the time but the other sites were a great distance away and you have a lot of privacy. My dog was exhausted when we left and loved having the freedom to be off leash during the day. My kids loves the pond and the paddle boat. Site #2 had tons of shade. Can't wait to come back!

    We loved this site! We had 3 dogs with us who loved the water access, the site was large, we had space for the pups to explore. We could see and here lots of wildlife and the sunrises were amazing

    We loved how peaceful and beautiful it was to stay at Laura’s. There were two other campers spending the night as well however you would never know it. The only concern we might share with other travellers with trailers would be that the way into the property is down a narrow tree lined lane way.

    This campground is truly a hidden gem and an oasis, lots of room for you to move freely and your neighbors where they are not to close. Laura's campground for a little extra has all the essentials you'd need for camping incase you forget to bring along....lighters, fire starter, little propane tank, homemade soap and firewood. For the price you pay for 6 pieces of firewood may seem not alot you'd be wrong the firewood are big so bring an axe along to cut it down to smaller pieces. I'll definitely be coming back again.

    Very nice spot right down by the edge of a nice pond . Big willow tree , nice large area . Nice having a picnic table and chairs fire pit . Very Quiet listening to fish jump in pond .Washroom was good . Would highly recommend 😎

    This private campsite wias everything we were looking for and more ,tucked away in nature it was incredibly peaceful, just the sound of the birds, the breeze through the trees and the crackle of the campfire. The site itself was very well cared for beautifully laid out and surrounded by stunning scenery that made it feel like a true escape.. And do yourself a favour…..buy the hosts soap, its beautiful!

    My first booking with Hipcamp and 2 thumbs up. The hidden oasis was perfect for needs. Level area to park my pop-up utility trailer, host was in contact from time of booking with instructions easing my mind. Area is secluded from the main home so having no other bookings for my two nights there felt like true off grid camping. Pond and creek beyond provided the sounds of the summer frog choir at dusk. Perfect!

    Beautiful place for camping. Private and quiet with a small pond. Well maintained grass with a view of a farm on the other side. Very easy to get in. Had a brief conversation with the kids living at the property or home and their 2 dogs. Very nice and helpful. Clean toilets. Perfect for camping with kids.

    The site was private and the space was so peaceful and calm. We could hear the frogs and crickets going as we set up our fire and roasted marshmallows! It was a great experience and so close to Elora and the Guelph lake!

    Beautiful sunsets, quiet location and pond full of and surrounded by wildlife makes for a fantastic long weekend getaway, our senior dog had a blast. Definitely bring some form of shade if staying on site #3, the sunny spot is lovely but gets hot in the evenings. Would absolutely come back again.

    A lovely spot! Three sites yet far apart enough to have privacy. We will definitely be back and considering it as a perfect three family site. We did not get a chance to meet the host, but from the great care of the sites, it seems obvious that the host takes pride and joy in her property and wants her campers to enjoy the same!

    Thank you Laura for the perfect weekend getaway. The property is as lovely and peaceful as it appears in the pictures. Sites are wonderful, really spacious and well manicured. Our dog loved swimming in the pond. We will definitely go back!!

    Everything was fantastic; from the booking, very clear directions and the huge campsites. There is nothing more peaceful than watching fish in the water and hearing the birds all day. 2 nights here was exactly what we needed!!

    We loved camping at Laura's! The site was spacious and felt private even though the other two sites were occupied while we were there. The nearby ponds and the beautiful sunset added to the tranquility and the firepit and firewood bundle made for a long lasting campfire.

    We had such an amazing overnight camping experience at Creekside! The property was spotless — everything from the campsite itself to the toilet facilities. The setting is incredibly peaceful, with beautiful surroundings that made it easy to unwind and disconnect from the busyness of everyday life. Laura was absolutely wonderful — so welcoming and accommodating. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Creekside to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-kept spot to camp.     Beautiful property! Camping site 3 felt private and the fire pit with chairs and picnic table were great. The compost toilet outhouse was clean and spacious. The hosts were inviting and provided a list of contacts of places to go in the area. The location is perfect distance from Elora and St Jacob’s, as well as many local hiking trails. I would highly recommend.
