Our micro brewery is located here because of our springs. The campsites are within walking distance to the brewery. The sites are in the forest with either a view of the pond, of Cartwrights Creek or of the Ottawa valley from a hillside. We have short hiking trails, some outdoor games such as horseshoes or beach volleyball, and we have beer. Contact Andre by texting 613-295-3377 FIRE: You must contact Andre before lighting a fire so a permit can be acquired. No fires before 6. GARBAGE: Please collect garbage and bring it with you. We unfortunately cannot accept garbage at the brewery. The municipality limits us to one bag and we have animals that would love to rip through your garbage bag before I can get to it. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE GARBAGE HERE! FOOD... don't leave food out for animals to get overnight... If you don't have a car you can put your food in the silo by the brewery... animals can't get in there!

Site B: Hill

This site was better than expected. Fire pit area completely separate from the tent areas. Would definitely return.

Site D: Hemlock forest

This space is like walking into someone's whimsical dreamland. The site itself was nice in the woods with the sound of the springs burbling. It was only 2 of us, but the site easily accommodates more with the various cleared spots for tents. It's an easy walk down to the brewery - with lots of different spots to sit (swings, benches, muskoka chairs) and playful decorations.

Site A: The pond

Lazy camper

Wish the website made it clear you had to walk to your site. A lot of my gear works in unison with my truck/attached to my truck. Had to turn around and went elsewhere for the night. Seemed like a pretty property and I got a friendly wave from other campers.

Site C: Group and R.V.

A fabulous camping experience!

From beginning to end, the experience was seamless. Upon arrival, our campsite location (Site C) was clearly marked. Andre had tarps in site C set up so we could sit outside and stay dry. There are two large handcrafted picnic tables that can seat at least 10-12 ppl each. While we didn’t play horseshoes, cite C had the pit set up. There is a bubbling brook at cite C and the sound is so calming especially for sleeping. While our cite was close to the brewery (added benefit for us) the noise levels were amazingly quiet. After we got our teardrop trailer set up we went to the brewery where we had delicious beer samples and pulled pork pizza. The price points were very reasonable and the portions were big enough for two to share. After our meal we went for a walk through the trail that led up to the look out. During our little hike we saw other camping (tent) locations that were quite private and would be excellent for those that enjoy tent camping. I highly recommend Cartwright Brewery for both the camping aspect and the brewery/eatery. Andre is an excellent host and educated us on the business and beer making and local food sources (ie wild ginger, mushrooms etc). We will return for sure!!
