There are plenty of outdoor activities in the area and we encourage you to bring your fishing gear and take advantage of the great fishing opportunities steps away from your campsite. Feel free to bring your canoe and enjoy a day on the river! There is a fire pit and outhouse provided. There is a house on the property, but you will have the campsite to yourself as nobody will be home. Tent camping only! - Table and chairs you can use. - Bring your own fishing poles or canoe. - Located just 7 minutes drive to Menzel Centennial Provincial Nature Reserve, an 800-hectare nature reserve, one of the largest examples of open and treed fen in southeastern Ontario. Enjoy hiking and birding on a 4.8 km path with an abundance of significant wetlands. - Fuel and grocery store located within 15 minutes for all your camping needs.Come camp right beside the Salmon River!
