A short 10 minute drive to nearby amenities (groceries, box stores, gas and liqour) and a quick 1 hour drive to nearby beaches and waterfalls including McGowan Falls, Sauble Beach and Sauble Falls, Hoggs Falls, Inglis Falls. Take a leisurely float down river by tube, canoe or kayak, step in for a swim or try your hand at casting a rod and reel, by day and camp along the shores by night. Not the water type? Strap on your boots and take a nature filled walk across the property, or nearby at one of the many Saugeen River Conservation Areas. Are you a night hawk? Sleepy Hideaway

We had an amazing time at sleepy hideaway last long weekend. It was hosted by a wonderful family, who accommodated to our needs. They were super friendly and suggested on the places we could explore. Their dog Nora was so well behaved, friendly and didn't disturb us at any point. The site was very clean, no weird smell anywhere. We swam in the lake which was refreshing. They suggested us to a look out place on their property which was overview to the lake and it was so beautiful!. Overall a very clean calm relaxing vibe with a lot of trees and canopies. Highly recommend this place, we have already booked the next long weekend!

Sleepy Hideaway

The site was so beautiful, with a gorgeous water view. We loved being able to listen to the river all night. Angela and Luke were so nice and welcoming. They were also SUPER understanding of the fact that we were introducing a newly rescued dog to the camping life, who wasn't so sure about meeting new people quite yet. We definitely recommend anyone considering check the place out!

Great stay!

Was a really pretty spot, had clear walking trails around the property along with spots to access the water, and sound barely carried at all.

The Dam Spot - Tent Site

Site was great; perfect for rafting, boating and swimming. Our dog loved being off leash and the grounds are well maintained.
