50 acres with the Saugeen river running through it. 40 acres are bush with lots of space to hike and just disappear. Adjacent to two neighbours with another 150 acres to explore. For camping I provide a large flat space with tree coverage right by the river. In addition there is a picnic table, a fire pit and a thunder box or outhouse to boot.

Riverside Hideaway

I had an awesome experience at Ken's campsite. The site was incredibly private, beautifully maintained, and just steps from the river. The amenities, including the picnic table and fire pit made for a perfect blend of comfort and wilderness. The host's exceptional hospitality, from meeting us upon arrival truly enhanced our stay. It was a fantastic weekend in the woods, far exceeding any typical campground experience.

Privacy Unmatched

Ken's property is a wonderful, peaceful place. The site overlooking the river was an easy hike in, and there was lots of space for the dog to run. The cedar forest is magical. We will absolutely be back!

Riverside Hideaway

Weekend in the rain, with the kids.

Camping on Ken's hideaway site was wonderful. He was very responsive with any questions I had before coming. And was nice enough to check in on us after a weekend of rain. The river is super nice. Definately look forward to booking again.

I really recommend this place. The owner was very attentive for our arrival to give us indications of where the campsite was, It's a very clean place with a lot of trees and with a river that was very relaxing to hear. Me and my family loved it

Family Camping at its best!!

Pictures doesnt do justice to this wonderful scenic campsite. Ken had everything well thought out , we were provided with Firepit, picnic table, outhouse and a wagon to carry stuff. We were a family of 10 and enjoyed every bit of this cool riverside spot.

Riverside Hideaway

Beautiful Property

The Riverside Hideaway is a gorgeous camping spot for anyone who wants to get away, but not too far away. I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the property is, and how accommodating, and friendly the hosts were while I was there. They provided a wheelbarrow to help take our things from the car during the short walk to the campsite. As well as a headlamp, wood, and a folding chair for nighttime. I had such a great time staying here the first night, and there were hardly any bugs underneath the tree cover. So, I stayed another night, and plan on coming back to Awesome Acres for another getaway as soon as possible!
