One of the oldest farms in Caledon. Alabaster Acres is a family run, agri-tourism farm with a focus on maple syrup production, Glamping, outdoor activities and experiences, workshops and raising some of the sweetest mini goats you'll ever meet. Come and join us to learn about and enjoy life on the farm.We offer a peaceful farm setting with options as to RV placements. You are welcome to visit our super friendly (mini) Pygmy Goats anytime during your stay and our loving Border Collie named Possum can't wait to greet you when you arrive. He's a charmer, be warned! There are lots of fun things to see and do in the area including trails, outdoor activities, breweries, cideries, wineries, artisans, local quaint shops, many great restaurants and cafes...the list is endless. For the guests that enjoy convenience, you can order in during your stay too - Door Dash, Skip the Dishes, pizza and Chinese Food all deliver here. While we're in technically in the country, we are a stone's throw from Tim Hortons, McDonalds, gas stations, an LCBO outlet and convenience stores as well.

Alabaster Acres
Unwelcoming
Overall, we had a good experience mainly because of our own enthusiasm and the wonderful animals, though not due to the host. Upon arrival, we felt quite uncomfortable and unwelcome. We were informed that camping was not allowed, only RVs, and aside from being shown where the bathroom was located, no further information was provided. We ended up exploring the farm and visiting the animals on our own, which felt odd. The experience was different from what was shown in the pictures. The opportunity to hold or feed the animals, as depicted online, was not available to us. It seems that only guests who pay for an additional “experience” get the host’s attention, while others are either ignored or asked to leave certain areas. The farm has great potential to be a more attractive destination. It could be a sanctuary where all the animals have enough space to live comfortably (for example, the bunnies seemed cramped in their cage, as were several other animals), and it could offer additional amenities like a small café. There are many opportunities for the farm to become a truly wonderful place to visit, especially if the host were a bit more welcoming and friendly. Everyone has their off days, which we understand. However, if you’re running a farm and advertising an amazing experience, it’s important to ensure all visitors feel welcome and receive a consistent level of kindness and care—especially the children who come to share love with the animals.

Nice farm and lovely animals
We spend three nights at this nice little farm. The place is well kept, clean and you can really see the love for every detail. We had a lot of space to our selfs and our own toilet. We didn’t have access to the glamping area. From the pictures I expected something different. But actually there is so much space und we loved the barns and the access to the animals so that we didn’t need the glamping area at all. The place is also a good stop for a daytrip into Toronto. If you have a bigger RV you should leave it at the farm because parking can be quite difficult. But there ist a bus station right on front of the farm which is actually perefect. We would definitely recommend a stay. It was just great and Aimee was a very nice and welcoming host.

Beautiful Family Spot — Goats!
We loved being at Alabaster Acres for 2 nights! The goats, the bunnies, the ducks. We traveled all the way from North Carolina, and loved being outside of the city of Toronto and getting to see the beautiful countryside. Aimee was attentive and kind — the space was perfect for our needs. Highly recommend 👍

Great stay & great for kids!
This was a very last minute booking and recommended by a friend who is a fellow HipCamper. What a treat! My son and 2.5 yr old camped for 2 nights and had the best time. Exceeding our expectations with a beautiful spot to camp, bathrooms, running water, and best of all a farm with goats, bunnies, chickens and ducks! Great for kids and also a 10 mins drive to Orangeville for any essentials. Definitely coming back and hope to do some glamping in one of the 3 beautiful lodges! Definitely recommended and everyone is so friendly! Thanks Aimee for a wonderful time :)
