Located in Westphal, Nova Scotia just 25 minutes from Halifax International Airport, 30 minutes from downtown Halifax, 20 minutes from downtown Dartmouth, and less than 10 minutes from the most beautiful surfing beaches the area has to offer! Enjoy a private driveway, 50 amp and 30 amp connections, a fire pit by a brook in a forested area with string lights, hammocks, a picnic table, and a barbecue. Located in a quiet residential area on the outskirt of Halifax's urban core, this serene oasis offers the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility.1 private premium site for self-contained RV on private land. ONLY 1 site! No other campers near you!! FULL HOOKUP SERVICE ⚡️ Electrical 50-30-20 amp 💧 Water ◼️ Blackwater ($40/tank) 🔘 Organic waste water disposal (check with host) 👔 Laundry ($20/load) 🛜 Free Wifi Potable water from BPA freshwater hose attached to the main house. The site is at its early stage and landscaping is not fully completed (price reduced accordingly) The best feature on site is the firepit surrounded by string lights in a forested area by a small brook. Great place to play an instrument and sing without the fear of disturbing the neighbours. Very clean and welcoming atmosphere! Was very quiet and cozy as well! Our lab puppy loved running through the wooded area !

What an incredible trip we had at surfer shade! Private, cozy, large, useful, nice and the best spot to stay and chill during a trip to Nova Scotia! Surfer shade is perfect camper/rv and tents. It’s a large private cozy place. There’s electricity and water. About the host, what a nice guy! Sam is super friendly and chill. He gave us many surf and skate advices🏄‍♀️. It was super nice to chill around the fire and playing guitar, Sam has some serious guitar skills ask him to show you hehe! 10/10 for Surfer Shade! Thanks a lot Sam🤙🏼

Swell time at the shade
Sam was an excellent host, very accommodating. He was super concerned about our comfort, and enjoyment. Thank you for that. Keep in mind the spot is in a residential area, but that is to be expected being so close to halifax. Super wonderful time. And could stories shared a put surfing.

Super cool spot 👌
Sam was a fantastic host, willing to go the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. He glady helped us set up, by providing power and water. There was a cool picnic area and bbq. The fire pit area was lit too, sharp spot. We also had the opportunity to go visit halifax as we were super close to the city. Great spot, thanks Sam.
