Campsite #2
We setup our 16 trailer on site #1, a little work to get level but not far from a normal setup, and what a view across to Cape Split and the Annapolis shore! Site was very well tended, recently mowed, lots of dry firewood, sturdy picnic table and nearby pit toilet. Did I mention the view, awesome. I am pretty sure I could have made a turn and backed into site #2, it may get a few extra mins of sunset. Very quiet night, long session of star gazing next to the fire. Highly recommend.

Can’t wait to come back!
We had the best time at Dans off grid camp site (site #1). We had planned to come to the area to do some hiking and eat at some local places but once setting up camp and taking in that amazing view we couldn’t pull ourselves away from it. We stayed for 3 nights; reading, cooking playing with our dogs, enjoying the views and just unplugging from the rest of the world. It was so private you felt like you were completely alone. It was definitely our favourite campsite we’ve stayed at in NS and we really hope to be able to return.

Campsite #1
Camping with 19' trailer.
The site is inviting and well maintained. Surrounded by acres of wildflower meadows and apple trees with a Spectacular View of the Bay of Fundy. Lots of places to walk through the woods on the property and some shoreline(across the street and through more woods) all to ourselves. We loved it, keep in mind how far you might be from items on your agenda. It is fairly remote/isolated. Great Host. We were there in September and the weather was perfect!

Beautiful coastal views and relaxin
Great spot with beautiful coastal views. Loved the campfire and provided wood, private toilet, dog friendly, and quiet relaxing spot. The host Dan was quick to respond. This was one of our favorite Hipcamp locations ever and we would definitely stay again!

Beautiful views and privacy to boot
After spending 2 weeks in Nova Scotia and staying at beautiful campgrounds and sites along the way, we can say that this was our top stay of our time here. A short drive up the dirt road led us to an outlook over the bay with beautiful views and complete privacy. A picnic table, bench and a fire pit complete with wood and kindling were also provided. Dan was a great host and communicated with us regularly. We would definitely stay here when we come back to Nova Scotia.

A Delight
Spectacular views and total privacy. What more could you ask for in a site. Except for a very clean (and, again, private) privy and seasoned, neatly stacked, dry firewood, as others have noted. The site itself has a well-situated fire pit, table and bench. It was the perfect first stop on my trip to completely immerse in nature. I wandered down the lane and across the street to the beach to walk in late afternoon sun - just what I wanted to do! Dan was super helpful, as others have also noted, offering suggestions on where to get supplies and how to get down to the shore. All in all I would echo others’ comments and say if you are common this area, you could not ask for a better experience. Thank you, Dan. A delight. Cheers.
