We are Forest Glen Adventures, we are located in Yarmouth Co, 40klms where the Cat Ferry from Maine lands. We are located on hwy 340 in a very quiet village , enjoy dark skies and a campfire. Ask about our Stargazer Experience a quided look at the night sky during your stay.
Plenty of level spots to pull into for the night. We are beside Parr lake with good fishing.We are Forest Glen Adventures, we are located 25 miles / 40klms from the town of Yarmouth, where the Cat Ferry from Maine lands. We are located in Yarmouth County.
A half-hour drive you're in historic Weymouth, explore shipbuilding and The Electric city at a small museum at Sissiboo Landing. We are also half-hour from some amazing beaches on the Bay of Fundy Mavilette Beach is stunning We are also Forest Glen Adventures our 150 acre homestead property is ready to explore , we have a road that goes back 3 klms., 4 walking paths around 1/2 klm each to explore local flora wild mushrooms, and Foraging for fresh berries when in season.
Great dry camping spots that are totally private are available . We also have places to pull in for the night and unwind. We are off grid as far as cell phones go unless you are the back of our property. Wifi is available at the office in .I recommend getting wifi calling set up on your cellphone if possible. We are located in the located in the UNESCO Southwest Nova Biosphere and Mi’kmaq Lands and Acadian Skies Starlight Preserve. Some very dark skies. To enjoy amazing stargazing.
