Our Spa is now available for booking! We are a constantly evolving location. Our goal is to provide a genuine secluded camping experience immersed in nature in a mountainous forest with privacy and well spaced out, secluded camp sites. We also have minimal light pollution, so our skies are beautiful for viewing the stars. We offer trails through natural wooded habitat with hidden gems of nature. Wildlife viewing throughout. There are feed locations to increase viewing opportunities. A creek on the property is lovely for walking. Centered between Charlotte and Asheville we are within your reach! We offer primitive tent camping, Glamping Tents and a Cabin. Glamping and cabin have a private Mountain View, fire pit area, Queen bed, Night Stand (built in phone charger), Desk area, interior and exterior lighting, heater and fan (powered by solar system). As a part of Starlight Hills Campground you have access to filtered drinking water, common overlook (w/ BBQ pits & picnic tables), trails, bathroom and showers. Welcome to bring all your furry family members ❤️. Please Note: 2 Wheel Dr. vehicles can access all of our sites. Gravel/ Dirt road up hill.

Site 5 - Starlight Hills Campground
The campsites are great. The communal space really makes this place. It’s a gorgeous view of the Blue Ridge. The road is quite inclined but not difficult to drive. You don’t need high clearance or 4WD. There was a lot of wood to be scavenged when we were there.

I got away from the stress of life!
An awesome place to get away from the hustle of life. This place was outstanding for the money. Beautiful Mountain View’s from multiple locations. MTG4 had a great view of a mountain valley and a December sunset I almost didn’t want to place a review here because it’s now like a little kept secret for me. The owner, William, checked on us an hour or two after arriving and explained the use of the trails, views, etc. The Glamping tents had Solar electric for lights and even heat available. My only recommendation would be to have a laminated instructions in the tent to know what to expect upon arrival. And if you do the Spa add on….its well worth it! The most relaxing experience I’ve had in a long time! Definitely coming back with the family next time as I know my kids would love it!

I loved everything about this experience!! William was welcoming and helpful upon arrival! I stayed in MTG 2 which ended up being one of the most continent locations, being situated in between both the bathrooms and the overlook. The views from both the overlook and the trail took my breath away and I couldn’t have left any more satisfied and happier!
