The Waterfall Cottage is located near the back of Woodhenge Sustainable Community. It is off grid, solar powered with composting toilets. One inside, and one in an outhouse. The cottage overlooks a stream with a bridge and waterfall just downstream. Walking trails lead to an old orchard and hardwood forest and there is a bench swing overlooking the waterfall. By the time the waterfall dries up sometime in July, we will have fresh vegetables in our gardens. We are about 9 miles from Sacketts Harbor on Lake Ontario, where you will find all sorts of swimming, fishing and water sports. This is an off=grid solar powered cottage positioned just uphill from a waterfall and bridge that leads to walking trails, an approximately 100 year old apple orchard and a cedar grove with a spring. In nearby Sacketts Harbor, (approx 9 miles) on Lake Ontario, guests have access to swimming, fishing and all kinds of water sports. By the time our waterfall dries up sometime in July, we will have fresh vegetables in our gardens. You will have the opportunity to learn more about off-grid sustainable living and homesteading if you are interested.
