2 beautiful rural acres on the outskirts of Cambridge, NY. a property so idyllic it once was photographed for the Saturday Evening Post. our sprawling meadow is half open, half enclosed by a canopy of trees. it gently rolls into scenic Schoolhouse Pond, home to small boats, floats, and even ice-fishing in the winter. it's a perfect mix of quiet and removed, while also being just an 8 min drive to the center of a charming small town, boasting antique shops and a food co-op. also a 5 min drive from nearby swimming hole The Georgi, fed by the mighty Battenkill River.park your vehicle in our adjacent clearing (which also boasts a little path to and from the pond with its own space for add'l campers) and walk a few yards past our main house... the meadow is wide open and waiting for you! you can pitch your tent down under a stand of box elder maple trees or just right in the middle of the meadow! it's a perfect spot for fishing, boating, birdwatching, or just reading/daydreaming in perfect peace. we ask that you collect your own trash / recycling and bring it to the large receptacles located by the side of the main house. charging of devices/wifi is available for limited hours each day- depending on proximity of campsite to main house- we are always happy to make special accommodations for guests, within reason.
