A great place to camp! A secluded spot that gives back country vibes with the comforts of car camping. There is a short uphill hike in to the A-frame site. Carts are proved to help transport gear, or Michael offers a tractor tow if needed. Very quiet, beautiful land and surrounding area. We we there just past peak fall foliage and had great color with long site lines of the surrounding mountains. There was no cell service though Michael has wifi that can be connected to when near the house. This is a great spot and Michael and Laura are wonderful hosts, I highly recommend!

Excellent Fall Getaway
It was a dream come true to find this piece of heaven in October. Micheal is an excellent host. He met me when I arrived on the later side of the night and guided me to my campsite. The broke campsite was a lovely 0.5 mile hike to get to and it was so private. Given it was the last site on the land. Make sure to bring a jug to take water from the trailhead to your site and say hi to the super friendly cat Dusty!

We stayed in Site 2 Spring and loved it! Remote and serene, but not too far from the car is my ideal. Micheal has carts you can borrow to bring items to your campsite, which was great. Would recommend!

Michael is a wonderful host and steward of the land, and what he's done with his property is truly inspiring. The sites themselves are all well appointed, the outhouses are stocked and clean, and the trail system Michael developed is really special. I'm thrilled to have unknowingly snuck in before he closed down camp for the season, and will definitely be back on the other side of winter.
