Our 40 acre property is home to four quiet, secure, exclusive river front sites on the mighty Clarence River. Boating, fishing and crabbing literally at your doorstep. And it's just a 15 minute drive into the towns of Yamba and Maclean.
To ensure all our guests have a comfortable and spacious experience, each campsite is designated for one camp set up only (eg one caravan or camper trailer or tent) This allows us to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere with plenty of space between sites.
The campsites are situated right on the bank of the mighty Clarence River, perfectly suited for campers who enjoy the peace and quiet.
Please note:
Our sites are available for booking up to 3 months in advance.
Our property is inhabited by a few cattle and kangaroos and on occasions a couple of visiting brolgas. The private boat ramp is accessible at the main house which is about 100 metres from your campsite. You are welcome to make use of our canoe or kayak which are kept up at the main house.
Pets are welcome but must be kept under control.
Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place.
Each campsite has it's own firepit surround in which to light your camp fire. Firewood is available for purchase.
Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Leave the site as you found it and take all waste with you on departure. The campsite is accessible by 2WD and can accommodate caravans, campervans and camper trailers. The sites are generally level and grassy.
Nestled in a serene riverside setting, this campsite offers a peaceful retreat with stunning natural views, perfect for those craving tranquility. Guests often highlight the spaciousness and privacy of the sites, with only four available, ensuring an intimate experience. The chance to see dolphins and other wildlife is a frequent delight, and the site's proximity to Yamba adds convenience without compromising the remote feel. Hosts Glenn and Zoe are praised for their welcoming nature, enhancing the overall relaxed atmosphere.
Quite tranquil right on the river good fishing nice grass sites.Close to Yamba and McLean one of our favourite spots Missey our little Dashey loves it.
Well maintained site with the 4 sites spaced apart. Fire pit was well used. Our dog loved the river. Every morning a spectacular sunrise over the river, sunsets were not bad either. Lovely, helpful hosts.
We loved staying at Palmer’s Island - Glenn and Zoe’s beautiful property! My son caught his first fish which will remain with us as a ripper memory forever. Bream and Catfish, was loads of fun. Zoe was so lovely and made sure we didn’t get spiked by the cat fish…
Their property is delightful, beautifully kept with water front sites all the way along. Bonus is the beautiful fire place and wood available for sale. Stunning sunrise over the water.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
