100% of recent Hipcampers say this Hipcamp felt private.
We are located NW of Kearney in a rural setting. There are neighbors around us but not too close. Being this close to a town, there are many activities and places to go. A few miles to the West of us is Cottonmill Park which has a good sized lake and hiking trails. Within an hours drive there are fishing/boating and recreational lakes. The great Sandhills of Nebraska are just a little over an hour North to get to. Pioneer Village is South about an hour and the Hastings museum is about the same distance only a little East and South. The parking spot is not suitable for tents as it is gravel and there are no bathrooms. It is a lovely spot for campers of any size, plus the towing vehicle. Motor homes (coaches) fit nicely and it’s an easy access to park. Our driveway is extra wide for turning in and out. Pets are welcome if you clean up after them. Kearney is only a few miles away for shopping, eating, entertainment and discovery.

Country Stop
27 ft Class C
ADDRESS HERE IS: 3662 West 70th Street! Do not use the Hipcamp map directions or you will not find it!! The gravel roads on the way here are very bumpy but once you get here, Garland and Lorna are very gracious and accommodating. The RV site is between a pole shed and a thick grove of trees and so it makes it private. It is totally out in the country with cows and quite pretty scenery.

Ask them for actual address
30 ft travel trailer · With pets
Very quiet. Relatively private because you are separate from the house by large yard and trees. They do have an actual address, which would be more helpful than the "don't follow Google maps" alternate directions. Either way, we contacted them and got back to the right place and had 2 nice nights.

Lorna and Garland were very helpful when directions initially led me to the wrong place. There was also a big storm that evening, and Garland came out to help me get hooked up. Thank you!

Pristine parking spot
20 ft campervan
Such a quiet and clean place to spend a night. Garland met us when we arrived to make sure we knew where the electricity and water were. We had a nice chat. After that we slept well. There is an outside light, but our blackout shades kept us in the dark.
