A 154 acre working ranch that has been operating over 100 years, situated in a wildlife corridor joining the Mission Mountain wilderness with the Flathead River and Bison Range. The camping site is located along 300 feet of the Mission Creek with scattered 100 year old pine trees. A nature walk to 3 walking bridges, with spectacular mountain views, an old cedar grove and a bald eagle nest is available. Access to the creek is possible from the camp site, although some areas of the ranch are off-limits due to ranch operation and private dwellings.
The A frame and Geoff’s ranch is amazing and so relaxing. They are very thoughtful hosts and ensure you’re welcome and comfortable, including pets.
I’d recommend the A frame to anyone and would love to come back.
What a serene spot! Geof and Heidi have the most beautiful property and picked the best spot for camp. Watched the storm come in over the Mission Mountains, listened to the rain fall all night, watched as herds of deer and yes… a rather large bear saunter by on their way to the creek. They live their space and sharing it with guests. Look forward to stopping here again!
Geof and Heidi are the nicest hosts! The cabin and the bathroom-camper were clean and comfortable. Absolutely lovely spot near the river, topped by the most welcoming animals. We wished we could have stayed longer on that little slice of paradise. We will be back! Highly recommend!
This place is amazing! It is nestled by a creek on a small working ranch. You’ll enjoy the goats, sheep, cattle, Aussie Shepard, and abundant wildlife. Geoff & Heidi are considerate hosts. I highly recommend this place.
