5 acres of private land on a private lake. Our property is the only accessible property on the east side of Anne Lake. Property is completely surrounded by the lake or wetlands making it feel like you're on your own private island. The only noises you'll hear will be the sound of local wildlife! We are a short drive or bike to the Cuyuna mountain biking trails and historic downtown Crosby! Distance to a few important landmarks and recommendations! Cuyuna Mountain Bike trails: 4.9 miles Deerstand Restaurant and Bar (Highly recommend!): 0.9 miles Downtown Crosby: 4.3 miles Super One Grocery Store: 4.2 miles Rafferty's Pizza in Crosby: 5.2 miles Victual: 5.3 miles Lonesome Pine Restaurant and Bar: 8.7 miles Heartland Hockey Camp: 1.9 miles All of our neighbors are full time residents and appreciate the peaceful privacy just as much as we do! Please be respectful and adhere to the mandatory quiet hours between 10pm to 7am. Outside of mandatory quiet hours, our neighbors (and their children) appreciate respectful noise levels; please no loud speakers or yelling- noise travels easily over water.Nestled within 5 lush acres on Anne Lake, this campsite is the ultimate private getaway. Just minutes from Cuyuna mountain and paved bike trails, as well as downtown Crosby. The "island" is surrounded by Anne lake which is a small, naturally preserved lake with no public access. The other side of the land is a wetland, which gives you the feeling of your own private island. There is a cleared gravel driveway to access the site. Enjoy complete privacy in front of the fire watching the amazing sunsets. Look out for lake otters, deer, loons and other wildlife.

Great camping spot that's both remote and close to town/many things to do. We really enjoyed our stay. One thing to note, accessing the lake with kayaks/canoes directly from the campsite isnt an option, but there is a small, easier place to access the lake closer to the driveway when you arrive to the property.

Beautiful Campsite!
This is quite frankly the best campsite I’ve ever been to. If you read nothing else, do not pass up the opportunity to stay here. We are a family of 7 with 5 children ages 6 through 14 and a dog. It is not an easy task creating a space where that age range can be happy. Plus our mangy dog was thrilled to run around all day! We paddle boarded every day and saw loons, herons, cranes, eagles, and BEAVERS! There is ample space for yard games. We had 4 hammocks set up and 2 tents with plenty of room to spread out. We rented a lily pad from Dave’s Sportland and laid out by the lily pads growing up along the shore. The campsite is remote in that it is quiet. And yet, Super One in Crosby is 6 minutes away. The toilet available (a little pit) is not much more than what you get in the boundary waters, but it’s fine and actually not that buggy at all. Overall, we spent 4 nights and 5 days there. Every night, as we watched the sunset from the dock, my wife and I dreamed about our next trip to Queen Anne’s Island. Our family is SO THANKFUL for Grady and this space he has shared. Memories we will treasure forever.

Great experience
We had a fantastic stay here! We stayed mid August with 4 people and dogs, tent camping. It was easy to find with the provided instructions, hardly any bugs, beautiful stars at night, only saw 1 other group of people on their boat for a couple hours, and had fun on the lake. There was a gas cook top, chairs, pit toilet, boat launch, plenty of fire wood, and fire pit. Only cons were it'd be nice if the pit toilet at least had 1 privacy wall and the lake was very weedy, especially by the dock. Host was very helpful and accommodating. Overall we had a much-needed escape from the city and hope to return next year.💖

its a yes for me.
loved it, nice and remote but close to Cuyuna biking. The vault toilet was a bit of a stretch but think owner was looking at upgraded sanitation. Not really a worry if you are self-prepared. Kids loved fishing off the dock, it really felt remote but was close enough to town for incidental needs. Would visit again.
