The wind down depot is an old train station cut in half and moved to the middle of the woods. We have lots of walking trails. Animals of all sorts can be seen all day. The flower garden is always loud with buzzing. The slab of concrete is ready for parking. Power available 20, 30 and 50 amp. Hose spigot too off the house. It’s secluded and private. Offers nature and views from the site to the pond and creek. Town is 5 miles away. The property is completely wooded. The train station was build in 1880 in Minden city Michigan. It was cut in half and moved on site. The depot is in the middle of the woods so if you’re looking to for peace and seclusion this is it. A beautiful creek runs through the property. A large pond is visible down from the camping site. Town is less than a 10 minute drive. The beach is sandy and beautiful at the end of the road. Restaurants, bars and grocery stores are all in town. The property has trials and tons of wildlife. Miles of groomed trails. The hummingbirds come to the feeders hundreds of times a day. Sometimes the owl looks out above the camper spot at dust! Lots of railroad related items on the grounds. Cement pad can be used for camper parking. The patio on the other side of the depot free to use with fire pit. The deer feeder is setup for wildlife viewing across the driveway and the turkeys get loud and show off all day. We only allow one camper at a time to keep it special for whoever is renting the space. The driveway is very long, but has plenty of room to turn around or back up and pull out for any size setup. Please come and enjoy a piece of history tucked away in the woods!
