We had a lovely, very private site on Michaela’s property. It was a great place to spend the night on our trip east.

Less than a day away
Enjoyed the privacy and stunning views on an early morning walk. The bugs weren't bad at all. I came prepared to take care of business with a shovel, but Michaela provided a portapotty and offered water at their home. Plenty of firewood and shade at Hammock Haven! I'll say for the benefit of future visitors- Michaela's property is the first left turn coming onto Station Road from the highway, with a small wooden structure marking the entrance.

Friendly, understanding host
I unfortunately had to cancel last minute and after explaining my situation Michaela refunded me. She was extremely nice and friendly. My encounters would make me recommend working with this host!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Incredibly warm and welcoming hosts, beautiful quiet property, free coffee in the morning! Such good vibes from the place we all decided we'd need to stay here again on our way back from out west. Big thank you Michaela and Darren!

What an amazing spot! I had a truly wonderful time here! Such a well-kept campsite and lovely hosts. I would definitely return and have already recommended the site to a friend! The train does go by at night but I enjoyed it and it added to the experience. This really added to my epic motorbike across Canada. Thank you!
