Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
This is a two-acre parcel of land with 700 feet of water frontage on the Piscataquis River. It is on the ITS trail. Bring your RV and your toys and take off right from the site. The sound of the river is amazing, and you have no neighbors for complete privacy. The Appalachian trail is just a few miles away. The beautiful village of Monson is just down the road for great food and essentials at the Monson General Store.Bring your tent or RV, this place is right on the river, with steps down to the water. Super private, tranquil setting right on the trail for immediate access to biking, ATVing, hiking, etc. Off grid, this is a the most peaceful, natural setting you can ask for. You have access to 700 feet of waterfront on the Piscataquis River.

A lovely spot, but a bit misleading
4 m pop-up camper · With pets
While we loved our stay, there were a lot of things in the listing that were misleading or inaccurate. We booked the site due to the advertised access to the waterfront, which was definitely not the case. You actually can’t get down there at all and was unsafe to explore for both us and our pups. The slope down to the water is incredibly steep and while there are steps the terrain to the water is inaccessible. We did enjoy listening to the river throughout our stay. There is also no picnic table or bins, which we were counting on. We definitely had to makeshift a few things to accommodate. With that being said, the site was clean, level and suited our camper well. You are right on a very active ATV trail/road so while it may not be secluded, everyone passing by was friendly and respectful. Exploring the area was amazing and we got to interact with so many friendly locals! But, would certainly recommend the host update the listing to better describe what is actually available on site, particularly for people searching for specific criteria such as waterfront access.

Brenda’s Land was the perfect place for a weekend camping trip! The location was convenient but also private. The site is located right on an ATV route, but the traffic did not bother us. We loved listening to the River down below, as we fell asleep!

Great quiet spot in the woods. Good location about 1/2 hour from Greenville. Will be staying here again.
