Excellent place to view the eclipse
7 m Class B
The Hohl’s have a lovely 7 generation farm just a few minutes off the interstate. There were beautiful rolling hills as we walked down the country road with our two German Shorthaired Pointers. Alex was very hospitable as were his wife, kids, and parents. His dad brought me some fresh spinach. There are several spots to camp in an RV up close to the house where there is electricity, but we requested more solitude where we could use our generator and be away from other campers. We did have access to municipal water at our spot. We saw the eclipse without the invasion of city lights and crowds. We could also let our dogs run, since the crops had not yet been planted in the fields. The GSPs learned about electric fences and cows, too. Just a lovely trip to Southern Indiana to see the eclipse and meet these fine people.
