Camp Tamarack is located 2 miles south of Tamarack Resort, where West Mountain Road turns into gravel. From your grassy campsite, enjoy the views of Lake Cascade to the East, and the Summit of Tamarack Resort to the North. Close to National Forest, hiking, boating, fishing, mountain biking, hunting, birding and wildlife watching. Nestled among a nice recreating neighborhood, the sites have a fire pit for your use. This dry camp is perfect for self-contained campers- bring water and whatever you need. Take it all out with you when you go. No restrooms, power, or water are available. A free sewer dump is located at West Mountain Campground 2 1/2 miles away. Tents allowed only if being used in conjunction with a camper, or a self contained toilet is brought. Well behaved pets allowed, please clean up after them. Quiet time after 10pm. There is no wifi, but cell service works well for most carriers. Each site can accommodate up to 6 guests and 3 vehicles. A towed trailer is considered a vehicle. Plenty of room for your toys. If you have a larger group, consider reserving another site. There is a third overflow site that will be opened during peak times or as needed for large groups. Contact the host to reserve the whole campground for large groups, reunions, or weddings. Enjoy all Tamarack Resort has to offer, launch your boat at nearby Poison Creek Marina, and explore the quaint town of Donnelly. A little further drive will get you to Gold Fork Hot Springs, Jug Mountain for golfing and mountain biking, and to McCall. Reach out with any questions.

A nice site, privacy is good besides proximity to camp 2 and 3. Overall a nice, flat, comfy place to spend the night and see stars.

This was a great campsite! Leah was very understanding that I had to cancel last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. She gave me a generous refund to accommodate the situation. I will be staying here again next time I'm in town!

Gorgeous view of Lake Cascade

Leah’s lot had a gorgeous view of Lake Cascade. The trees were great for relaxing in a hammock and we were able to access mountain biking trails from the subdivision to get over to Tamarack. Less than a 10 minute drive to Tamarack and the lake boat launch.
