2.5 miles from Red Rocks Amphitheater nestled in the Colorado foothills . We are conveniently located at the trail head at Mathews Winters Park, across the road you can also hike or bike dinosaur ridge. Close to city things, but in the country. Close to activities like hiking , breweries, biking, golf , lakes, restaurants, drag strip, motorcycle track and more. We have 2 yurts, each with queen beds. Drinking water is provided. We have a natural water solar shower, a Porto-potty and a fire pit. We do not have cleaning charges as these are to be self sufficient . Please pick up and dispose of your trash to prevent additional cleaning charges. These Yurts are very popular for folks going to concerts at Red Rocks Amphitheater and need an inexpensive place for a day or two. You can Uber, Lyft or hike to the amphitheater and some folks will hike back, but be aware its in the dark on the way back. Ride shares will pick up by our gate and they have lot to pick you up and and bring you back. Lots of guest come without cars. NOTE: Leave it tidy for the next guest. If you need clean linens , we have sheet and 2 towels packages for $40.00us. Or bring your own. We are close to I-70, and that great access comes with some noise, we do supply ear plugs or you can bring your own headsets, some folks don't even notice it. Please be aware your are staying in Colorado wilderness. We have seen deer ,elk , racoons, owls, eagles, koalas, rattlesnakes, bear, lizards, bobcats, mockingbirds, mountain lions, magpies, doves, coyotes, bull snakes, spiders, moths, . Watch your steps and be aware. Each yurt has an air horn to scare off unwanted guest. Please lock up any foods in your car. Glamping tents set up 2.5 miles from Red Rocks Amphitheater in the Colorado foothills. Close to the city but still in the country. Also close to hiking trails, Bandimere Speedway, Coors Brewery, Thunder Valley motorcycle track, golf course ,lakes, restaurants and more. We have showers and Porto potties ,a fire pit.

Avoid the Red Rocks chaos here
These rustic but we'll appointed yurts were a perfect way to avoid the transportation nightmare that usually accompanies red rocks shows. A bed, small couch and heater is all provided, as well as a very clean porta-jon. Very walkable on trails to and from the venue or a very quick Uber ride. If you don't need much but a bed and hassle free end to your end of night show then this is the yurt you've been looking for!

Nice little spot close to Red Rocks! It’s probably one of the more affordable places in the area and it’s very easy to catch an Uber to the venue from there. It’s not the fanciest place but if you’re used to camping and roughing it, it feels like a step up to have a bed to sleep in. Good star gazing at night too. I did have to sleep with earplugs in though, it’s fairly close to the highway but traffic died down at night and it wasn’t much of an issue for me.

Double bookings and Uncomfortable
This was a very odd experience. We booked one of the tents, and upon arrival, both of them had guests already in there. I called Dennis (who was very nice) and he said he had somewhere else we could stay, which he said was nicer than the tent. He mentioned how between VRBO and hip camp, double bookings happen frequently. The room he showed had a scattering of totes, trash bags of sheets, and truly looked like a storage room. I’ve slept in some not-so-normal places in my life, so I feel I am pretty open to unique places to crash, but this was not great. He then offered a eurovan which was clean, but there were empty bags of potting soil, a machete and other random items inside. I was in a tight spot, so I said that the van would work. My brother and his girlfriend slept in there and the rest of us just slept on the ground. He mentioned he was fine with us crashing outside, but when I was at the concert, he texted and said it wasn’t okay since there were raccoon and bear concerns. It sounds like he ended up putting more overflow guests in the storage room bed. It seemed like he was trying to get the biggest bang for his buck. Overall communication was not great, the accommodations mix up didn’t seem like a one time issue, and the alternative solutions did not make me feel comfortable. I don’t typically leave negative reviews, I don’t typically ask for money back, but in this situation, I think it’s important to share my experience.

I absolutely loved staying here! Sleeping on a super comfortable bed (rather than on a camping mat) while still feeling like I was outdoors was the best! Some people might have a hard time with the freeway noises, but coming from a home near a busy intersection with lots of very loud revving engines, I found it soothing. The proximity to Red Rocks was remarkable; I wouldn’t stay anywhere else next time I’m there for a show!

This was a good place to stay close to Red Rocks. It was close to the highway, but we did not notice the noise at all. We were planning on doing the hike to the amphitheater but chickened out when we saw that the trails were labeled as "difficult." Since we're from sea level and not used to Colorado trails, we decided to Uber. Getting there was quick and easy, getting home was longer and more expensive, but still worth it. I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable staying here as a single female, but it was perfectly safe with someone else. When I booked, it said there was a shower but that changed before I arrived. I recommend bringing water to wash up with, there is still a stall to use for showering that worked just fine.
