Welcome! We’re Jillian and Joe, along with our sidekicks Sonora + Ayla, the brains and the brawn behind Mill Creek Resort. Since 2017, we have been pouring every ounce of our love and energy into this landmark 1930’s resort. We take great pride in honoring it's rich history while creating a space for the next generation of mountain adventurers. Nestled in 12 acres of cedars and towering pines on the south side of Lassen Volcanic National Park, we offer 9 cabins open year-round, along with 17 campsites, some featuring glamping tents and 8 RV spots, one featuring a vintage 70's trailer and 2015 modern RV. We hope your path leads you here to experience all that Lassen has to offer. Miles of trails, pristine waters, dark skies, and wildlife abound, all awaiting to be discovered. Site 8 - Campsite right outside Lassen NP

It was easy to get to, they had my name and spot number visible. I had a short walk to the bathrooms and mill creek. The weather was beautiful and it was so quiet from city and people noise. You could hear the creek running from the site as well. I definitely plan on returning and bringing others along with me!!!!!!

I had an amazing stay at Mill Creek resort booked through Hipcamp! The site was better than expected. Beds were so comfortable that I had a hard time getting up lol. Love the sound of the nearby creek. We bought wood and the s'more's kit and used the campfire area. Hammock and lawn chairs also provided. We originally booked a motel In Chester and so glad we changed it. Not much in that town plus it would of Added another 30 mins to Lassen National Park. Overall, I highly recommend Mill Creek resort campgrounds for anyone looking for a peaceful camping near Lassen National Park I will definitely be booking here again.

Site 7 - Campsite right outside Lassen NP

Great location right outside of Lassen! Cute little community with good amenities. I ended up moving over to site 11 with the host's approval, as site 7 didn't have much privacy - worth noting if this is a priority to you! Sites 9 and higher seemed to have more privacy. Bathrooms were clean and I didn't use any extras from the on-site lodge but great to have access to ice, firewood, etc. Bring quarters for the shower, hot water was a lovely surprise :) Enjoy!

1970's Aristocrat Trailer in Lassen

Booked last minute on a whim and this time my stay in the vintage rv was way better! The weather was perfect, it was totally quiet at camp and I was able to hang with friends from the resort and connect to the land and each other. I was so cozy and comfy in the rv. Minus the squirrel that was tossing pine cones down and landing on the roof which made loud noises, there were no issues at all. Loved jumping in the creek and giving thanks to the land that it wa protected from the fire. Love my stays here. Always
