Huckleberry Haven currently features one glorious campsite and camp deck in the forest. Surrounded by huckleberries (in season July-Nov), fir and redwood trees and adjacent to Salt Point State Park and Kruse Rhododendron State Preserve. Property is situated at 800' above sea level (usually above the fog) across the road from the Stump Beach trailhead in Salt Point State Park - which is a 2 mile hike or bike ride down to the beach. Enjoy quiet solitude of one of the most private and quiet places on the Sonoma Coast. Avoid the crowds of Salt Point, with all the basic amenities you expect. Birdwatch, play frisbee golf, hunt for mushrooms, basecamp your hikes, runs or mountain bike rides in Salt Point, or use Huckleberry Haven as the central spot to innumerable road bike rides on empty roads. The choice is yours!

Will be back again
Fantastic camping spot that I don't want to tell (too many) others about because it's so awesome. The property is expansive, the bathroom is legit, and the freedom from city pollution or noise was liberating.

Huckleberry Haven Forest Camp Deck
Jake was a fantastic camp host and we had a great time. The deck was really convenient to set the tent on and kept us off the ground. It was also really nice to have fresh running water and a bathroom just a short walk away. You’re surrounded by beautiful scenery and it was a great get away.

Redwood sanctuary
We really enjoyed our stay at Huckleberry Haven! We were in a truck camper and there was plenty of flat ground for parking. The deck was a lovely spot for yoga, we enjoyed exploring trails throughout the property, and having a bathroom felt like a luxury! Highly recommend hiking Stump Trail down to the water - it was a dreamy forest bath.

Beautiful stay in nature
This site is AMAZING! Thank you Jake for accepting our request to stay at short notice 🙏 This site is in beautiful grounds, you have trees, trails, deck to view the stars and moon! And an outside toilet too! Will defo stay again 😁🌳🌟

Amazing set up. The deck is much larger than the picture would lead you to believe. Quiet spot with lots of nice touches: water, toilet, picnic table, and a very courteous host. This is close to lots of hiking.
