Welcome to YVR, Yalakom Valley Ranch !
We are a cattle ranch located halfway into the Yalakom valley. Our ranch is off the grid, remote, unique and very private. The camspite is located on the far end of the ranch, giving campers lots of privacy. It is very calm, although you can hear the creek which runs down below the property.
Views are amazing at the ranch.
Activities around the area are:
* Hiking
* Fishing
* Biking (Gravel and Mountain biking)
* Watersports like windsurfing, kiteboarding, wing foiling,... (Carpenter, Seton, Anderson lake).
* Trail running
* Dirt biking
* Snowshoeing
* Snowmobiling
* Reading
* Day-dreaming
* Star gazing
Chairs, fridge, plates, utensils, water tank NOT included
...We have built a camping platform for a unique and very private camping experience. The platform is 12ft x 12ft, covered and lit up by solar powered LED lights. You will be comfortable, covered, leveled and off the ground.
Come enjoy the beauty of Yalakom Valley. Hike, bike, fish, run.... or just enjoy the beauty of the mountains. There are plenty of trees around to add a hammock to your stay.
At the site, you can choose your views: mountain, field or valley. It's beautiful all around you.
The toilet is an antique 3 walls outhouse. You will be doing business facing the valley!
Please note that this place is remote and is in the wilderness. The surroundings have lots of wildlife, occasionally including bears and wolves. There are risks of mudslides or wildfires. This site is recommended for experienced off-the-grid campers. You will need to respect the land, fire regulations and pack your garbage back.

This is a very peaceful site and the unique camping deck makes it very pleasant to cook on the stylish countertop, and one can spread one's chairs around the deck on the nice flat surface. The solar powered lights are a nice touch too. The stars at night are truly stunning if you're there when the moon is below the horizon.

Pascal's Ranch was everything we were looking for and more. Situated on a small field surrounded by the mountains with the river below. This spot is as private as you can get, with everything you need and more for camping. The rustic outhouse had an amazing view down the mountain to the river (one of a kind experience) and the deck is an awesome addition providing shade during the day and led light at night. Thought and effort was put in to create this spot and Pascal was great at responding to my questions and giving directions. Would definitely book again!
