This is a 5 acre property with multiple houses. I built a campsite that is about 200ft from the house, so it is close, but private. Sea to Sea regional park is one block away for amazing hiking and mountain biking opportunities. This site is a decent size, but a tight turn into it. We have gotten a tent trailer in there...it was a just tight! Black-Bears are on property year-round. www.bearwise.org please secure all attractants. Porta Potti Rental is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. It's available for a flat 15$ fee. Please empty and clean it when finished. There is a sani dump at the back of the near-by RV. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f163Lei3-oA&t=152 Site contains a picnic table and fire pit (if no fire ban in effect). If needed, we can provide Electricity via extension cord. Drinking water tap on site . No loud music that can be heard outside the campsite, all garbage must be cleaned up and packed out on check out, fire must not be larger than fire ring and is subject to provincial fire bans. ONLY FRIENDLY PETS WELCOME! We have a couple of dogs and children free-ranging on our property. This is a small campsite nestled in the forest located in Sooke, BC. It is about 300 feet from the house but is private. There is a picnic table, fire ring. There are several kilometers of wilderness trails in the near by Sea to Sea regional park. Porta-Potti is available upon request for an additional fee. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f163Lei3-oA&t=152 here's a video on how to empty it. Water and power are available at the campsite. I've fit a tent trailer on the site before, but anything bigger won't fit. Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban. Pets are welcome.

Super cute, quiet tucked away area. Lots of nice space surrounded by trees. We had a lovely stay.

Thank you Dan

We loved the place Dan offered here. First of all he was super quick to reply to all my questions, a really friendly host. The site is big enough to park our 21 ft Campervan, with plenty room to walk around, and is very private. We would recommend it to all our friends if they come this direction in the future.

Camping with the pups.
Tent · With pets
It was great camping here, one spot site with access to city water and an electrical extension to plug a rice cooker to :) It was quite and private even if its on Dans property. Would deffinitely book again. He provided a portable potty for us to use which was really nice. Also if you wanted to go by the water, its 10-15minutes away. 15min to Langford and 20-30min to Uptown/downtown Victoria.

The campsite was very easy to find and the site was private, long and wide enough for our van with power and water. We walked the neighborhood picking wildflowers and choosing books from road side libraries. Great spot!

Great little camp spot

Great little spot. I got to check out and see if my car camper design worked, and I had all my answers to my questions.

Simple, no frills. Composting toilet was available, along with power extension cord and water spigot. Private and just what we needed after a long day of biking. Would definitely stay there again.
