Immersed in nature on our bikes
My friend and I had a wonderfully peaceful and comfortable stay. The hosts were so friendly and it was a joy to feel immersed in nature. We biked in from Victoria on the Galloping Goose, which is right down the road from the property. The Sooke Potholes were a beautiful ride further along the path and groceries, etc were easy to get to in town. We fell asleep to the hooting of owls and woke from great rest in their very comfy beds. They had all we needed including a BBQ, propane fire pit, small cooler, and kitchen supplies. We will definitely return.

The dreamiest glamping ever!
Group trip
Chelsea's spot was absolutely magical and perfect for our small girls weekend! It was amazing to have everything we needed (bedding, water, BBQ, propane fire, and hammocks!!!) right there with beds for everyone. Super private location that's near everything we wanted to do in the area and the hosts were very accommodating. We will absolutely be back and adored seeing the turtle in the pond sunbathing.

The site is absolutely beautiful. There are two massive teepee tents, which fit our family of six perfectly. The propane fire pit was a welcome addition for cooler nights, and there were plenty of blankets for when we were in the tent! The water cooler was appreciated as well. The only electricity source was two large power banks, which were used to power the fairy lights as well. If you have multiple devices that will need to charge, and you're staying a few nights, I would recommend bringing a power bank for your devices, just in case! The facilities are an outhouse, which is fine, considering no running water, but just so there are no surprises! We had a wonderful stay, the town of Sooke is beautiful, and we would definitely come again!

We loved staying at this camp site - was really beautiful. Fantastic design, thoughtfully landscaped, and super comfy beds. They had everything we needed. We biked out and all we brought was clothing and minimal groceries. We didn’t really do any cooking (lots of restaurants nearby) but you could easily prepare full meals with everything there.

Say hi to the turtle!
With kids
Nestled by a serene pond, our glamping experience at Turtle Pond Retreat was nothing short of magical. The picturesque setting, complete with a friendly turtle making occasional appearances, added a unique touch to our stay. The spacious tent offered plenty of room to move around, making it perfect for families or small groups. The beds were incredibly comfortable with high-quality bedding that ensured a restful night’s sleep. It truly felt like a luxurious escape into nature. The amenities provided were impressive and well thought out. The site was stocked with all the necessary cooking equipment, making meal preparation a breeze. We especially enjoyed using the grill and propane fireplace, which were perfect for both cooking and evening relaxation. The host was readily available and extremely helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Maple’s Edge provided the ideal blend of comfort, convenience, and natural beauty.
