10 acres of natural beauty in the mountains. The property is covered in wildflowers and has idyllic views over Yellow Lake and the similkameen valley. Deer, hummingbirds and marmots are frequent visitors. Feel free to roam the property and take in the beautiful scenery. There are 4 lakes within a 1-5 minute drive for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming. There are many oppurtunities for hiking. Twin lakes golf course is 1 minute away. Also a 1 minute drive is Twin Lakes store which offers liquor, good coffee, baked goods, an ice cream bar and gas. 15 minutes to Penticton. 10 minutes to Kaleden. 15 minutes to Keremeos. The reason this is listed as RV only is because we have no washroom available, however if tents would like to accompany an RV there is plenty of room to do so. RV 30amp outlet available. This is an RV site. There is room for multiple vehicles / RVs but the number of power outlets is limited. The site is mostly flat but requires some leveling. Electrical and potable water hookups are both available. There is space for tent camping next to the RVs on site, but we are not open for tent only camping as there are no washroom facilities available. A fridge and freezer are also available for use inside our well house. There are 4 lakes within a 1-5 minute drive for fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding. There are numerous hiking opportunities. Twin Lakes Golf Course is 1 minute away. Also, 1 minute away is Twin lakes store, offering baked goods, great coffee, an ice cream bar, liquor and all the essentials. 15 minutes to Penticton, 10 minutes to Kaleden, and 15 minutes to Keremeos.

The Meadow, RV campsite
Gorgeous campsite, and wonderful hosts. The views and stars were spectacular. Amenities provided was a bonus. Portable water, power, a freezer and a small fridge. We drove into Penticton just 20 minutes away to float the channel and enjoy some of the local scenery. This was the perfect spot to get away without feeling like a sardine in an RV park. Absolutely loved it and will be back! Thank you for opening up your space.

The Meadow, RV campsite
My wife and I stayed with George and Laura for seven nights. We loved Valley View Acres. What a marvelous change from being stacked upon other campers as we typically are at most campgrounds. The views, the open space, the absolute quiet were all fantastic. George was very welcoming and provided a wealth of knowledge about things to see and do locally. He worked hard to make sure our stay was a great one. Things of note. Since you will have been driving on Hwy 3a to get to Valley View Acres, you will be used to steep climbs and descents, as well as twists and turns, but should be aware that when you turn off Hwy3a there is still some more climbing to do before arriving at the property. We were in a 26' fifth wheel with a total combined length of 43' (truck and trailer) and managed a crest at the top of the driveway and space to back into the site to utilize the 30amp power and water hookups. Thank you George and Laura.

The Meadow, RV campsite
We highly recommend Laura and George's HipCamp. The mountain views from their property are beautiful. From the site, we took a lovely walk with our dogs, up the mountain through pine trees and a grove of birch. It's close to wineries, swimming, and all the activities the Okanagon Valley has to offer. Our favorite tasting was at Lakeboat Vinyard & Winery in Kaleden, a short drive from our site. Laura and George are very nice and communicative. We really enjoyed our stay!

Camping under the Stars!
We really enjoyed everything about our stay! George was friendly and communicated well. Directions to the site are spot on. Although limited on shade it didn't matter as we had our trailer awning and best if all there is a 30amp hookup so we could run our AC when needed! Site is large as we had the area to ourselves! The shack with a large chest freezer and a bar sized fridge was a nice help too. Water pressure was great and the water was excellent - clean and refreshing to drink. The best part of the site is the peace and quiet to enjoy the spectacular views. We also have a hybrid trailer and unzipped the ends so we could essentially sleep under the stars (with screen in place). It is one of the only times we've been able to do this in complete privacy and it was a very special and memorable. A very minor thing: if you want to eat outside bring a small folding table as a picnic table is not there. We would love to come back again! One of the best sites we have camped at!

Gorgeous, tranquil camping spot
We parked here with our 19 ft. Travel trailer for two nights in July of 2024. The hipcamp communication before our stay was excellent. Once we arrived, George greeted us with a welcoming smile. They had good, clean 30A power and water. The well house next to the gravel space provided a freezer, fridge, garbage & recycling bins as well as additional power outlets. The one thing to keep in mind, you should keep your furry friends out of the tall grass as there are many burrs & dry vegetation during the late summer. We would definitely stay there again!

Sweet Spot
Sweet spot Beautiful panorama, very private with 30Amp connection and well water. Close to many of the activities in the area. We stayed 3 nights while we rode the Kettle Valley rails to trails Trestle ride. We also swam in the lakes and drank the wine. 2 van conversions shared the site and utilities The hosts were very informative about local amenities. Would certainly stay there again
