Join us on our family farm. We have our first few sites open to let you join us and relax in the forest. Site 1 and 2 are drive-in sites. Site 3 is a tent-only site. These sites will welcome you to recharge in nature. Dark night skies will open you to all the majesty of our solar system. Each standard campsite has a flat gravel surface suitable for tents, smaller RV's, shorter travel trailers, truck campers, rooftop tents, camper vans and similar. We have a tent pad site as well for cyclists or motorbikes. Small trailers up to 16 feet may be usable, but access may be tight. Please note, that while there is a campfire ban, camp stoves and propane fire pits are permitted. Easy access to Mt Washington and Strathcona Park, local beaches, rivers and more.

Site 2

Lovely quiet campsite.

Super sweet campground. We managed to get our 20” trailer into the site. We were the only ones there. The host Colin is super helpful and keeps the grounds and porta potty impeccable. He came to our rescue when I needed some extra charge for my CPAP battery, wasn’t sunny enough for the solar panel! First time with Hip Camp and definitely won’t be our last.

simple, quiet, flat site. Great for our class b van. clean picnic table onsite also a clean porta potty available. Colin gave us great directions to get there and dropped by to answer any questions we might have.

Private camping abode

Colin has put great care & effort into this camping site. The directions and signage to the site were clear. The second site is close to the other, however the shrubbery in between supports privacy. I appreciated the proximity to urban Comox Valley amenities while I enjoyed a cozy camping experience in my tent on Colin’s property. A great stay!

Site 2

Colin has a great piece of land if you are looking for a place to stay in the Comox Valley. He put a lot of work into making the sites a comfortable place to hang out and relax and it shows. I would definitely stay here again for my future Comox Valley adventures.
